Chicken Alfredo gave me food poisoning for sure. Over priced small cup horchata that is made from a powder that you can get from the store for the same price as one small cup. Salad was dry. Yeah 10/10 would not recommend.

My opinion regarding the food is the following: I don't know if the food they sell is Italian or Honduran. But from what I saw it is more Honduran food although it has the name of Cuba or Cuban food. The restaurant or dining room is located in a highly visited location and needs changes or remodeling to make it more presentable and hygienic. I sat at a table and the table was dirty and there were papers lying on the floor, I visited the bathroom and it needed maintenance: changing the lock, doors since they are in very poor condition and air freshener. I ordered a baleada to eat there but I didn't like it since the tortilla was simple and at the same time like rubber. I ordered a coffee and it was served in an espresso glass, I would have liked it in a cup, if it is to go in an espresso glass and on the tables there were no napkins, chili, salt or sugar. As I said before, the place is very visited, it should be presentable and the TV should play Honduran news or relaxing music, but no, what I saw they were projecting was a novel with very high volume. Then I went back into the place and ordered a chicken with slices, the slices had too much toast, the cabbage was too bitter, no pickle. They need to improve. It's just constructive criticism. Employee closed the door in my face and locked it as I walked up, immediately after accepting a group of 4 college students and a CTA employee. Claimed “closed”, even though it was 40 minutes from closing. I live nearby and have often come in, but I will not be returning.
I have tried everything on the menu my favorite is eggplant parmesan.

Why? I placed my order on ritual because this is the fourth time I have the same experience I place anHour ahead get here and my order is still not ready. They have a bunch of older people working that don’t understand and are not fully trained to run the business. They are super slow all the time. Food is good but the waiting experience is a nightmare. They work very slow kitchen is see through so I can literally see the pace they have. It gives me anxiety!
