The Bloody Mary was TERRIBLE, flat out not worth $5 let alone what they charge. The burger was good, but also not worth the price. Would not recommend. Should just go to another place besides here. As the younger generation would say, this place is mid

Thankfully there are many options if you are in need of sustenance while traveling at O’Hare.
Unfortunately one of them is the Publican Tavern.
Where do we begin? The hostess showed us to our table explaining that they only have 5 of the 18 items on the menu. No salads. One appetizer. 3 Sandwiches and wings.
We’re seated at a table with a QR code - not uncommon these days. We try and try and try again to scan this code to no avail. I return to the hostess to explain, barely looking up from her phone she says oh, your server has to activate it. ???!
We wait. Three staff members all inform us over the next five minutes that our server will bring us menus.
And we wait.
And eventually our server arrives with one menu. And leaves to get another.
She reminds us of our limited options.
Honestly if my spouse did not want to sample one of the local brews, I would have moved on at this point.
We ordered a fish sandwich and a turkey sandwich, which both came with house made potato chips, several of which were soft and soggy.
The fish sandwich was good, the turkey o.k. The amount of Peri peri aioli disguised the meat enough it could have been a Reuben.
Not worth the hassle. Not worth the price. Not worth the wait.

We flew in from Dallas and our flight out of O’Hare got canceled an hour before takeoff causing us a 25 hour layover. We got a room at the Hilton attached to the airport. The room was 1 bed and small and it smelled. It cost us $527 for 1 night! The room cost $349, we paid $100 extra for late check out and paid $80 in city occupancy tax, state occupancy tax and county occupancy tax. We ate at the hotel restaurant which we had fish and chips, a small wedge salad and 2 drinks which cost us $96! The next day we left the hotel and went back to the airport through TSA screening. The TSA agent that checked us in was very unfriendly and rude. I understand not being friendly to every single person but there’s zero reason to be rude. We bought 2 premade sandwich’s, a small bag of chips, a coke, and a water that cost us $50! This place is nothing more than highway robbery! It is the worst airport to go through and wants nothing more than to separate you from your money. We should have rented a car and drove home. It would have been much cheaper and less hassle. If you ever get stuck at O’Hare like we did, you better have a pile of money to live.
Ohare is huge but lacks things like gluten free food options and stores to shop in when you get delayed 4 hours. There is a lack of seating and the inefficiency of TSA was astounding. Many other airports are far better.
Our flight with American Airlines was delayed three times and we missed two flights. We finally make it and have to go to customer service and this man, Greg was so unprofessional and hateful to everyone. I would blast him on American Airlines page but I cannot find a place to complain. We asked if they could do something for us since they were responsible for our missed flights, one less day of vacation, money, etc. He proceeded to tell us that wasn’t his problem. He said it was weather related and the lady next to us said… no it wasn’t. My husband said, it wasn’t weather, they came over the speaker and said it was maintenance. To which he told her to stay on her side and she is not allowed to speak. Disrespectful dude on a power trip. I will never ever ever flu AA again.
I just flew from Kansas City into Ohaire in a United Flight 1491 with a purple roller carry on bag. Upon landing, I went to get my bag from the overhead & my bag was gone! I have filed a report with United & it has not been recovered. I can not reach anyone at O'hare to file a police report. There must be security everywhere in the airport & yet no phone number to call???

Ultra overpriced. The salmon was small, like the soup.

I don't know why it still amazes me how FUGGIN RUDE most of the TSA people in Chicage are. Pushy, loud, full-on power-trip and terrible attitude. I'd take the time to say something to their leadership if I actually thought they would actually do anything to resolve it. Out of all the airports I come in contact with, Chicago O'Hare is one to avoid.
Excellent place for a restaurant, provided they stop this eeo and Hire people with willingness and less you still owe me attitude.
Was given the complete wrong order after I waited 20 minutes for a turkey sandwich.
