It’s a cool spot and not very busy so service is quick! They have a classic menu of tacos, nachos, and more! Their taco Tuesday includes beef, chicken, or vegetarian for $2.50 each. It’s a good deal! I tried one of all three and the veggie was my favorite because the added cheese and sour cream! The waitress is so nice and sweet, she even unwrapped my straw for me and made sure I got the Diet Coke not the regular. Great location too!

Martha our waitress was so kind and helped us out when we were hungry and everything was to close. They stayed open long enough for us to enjoy our meal peacefully and the food doesn't disappoint. If you want great food this is the spot located in Logan Square neighborhood right next to the Logan Theater.

I’m shocked that this place has received reviews like this in the past—I assure you, they all seem false. Tucked right in the heart of Logan Square, this restaurant is such a gem. In a neighborhood full of excellent but pricey spots, this spacious place delivers something special—authentic Mexican food that tastes homemade and comes at about half the cost of what you’d pay just down the street.
The menu is filled with rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and comforting dishes that feel like they were made in someone’s kitchen with love. Even better, the desserts are homemade and the perfect way to end your meal. The atmosphere stays true to a classic Mexican restaurant vibe—warm, inviting, and full of character.
This is one of those spots you’ll want to add to your regular rotation, whether you’re local or just visiting the area. Delicious food, fair prices, and an experience that stands out in Logan Square—definitely a must-visit!

Very disingenuous taco Tuesday deal. Said 2.50$ in sign with small nondescript text listing off three different tacos. Turned out the deal only applied to these three, includes veggie tacos for some reason (this taco should not be more then 1.50$ anyway…ridiculous). I ordered two steak tacos and they let me order them without informing me of how the deal worked. Ended up paying 9.75$ at the end of the transaction.. frankly ridiculous. a slimy and misleading way to conduct business. Also why are tacos 5$ in the first place….will never come back, very ridiculous. They should inform customers so they don’t mistakenly pay more than they intend.

Disarmingly good and inexpensive margaritas and “Margarita-Rita” (beer + frozen marg) in a variety of flavors including mango, passion fruit, and guava. Proprietor is lovely.
Support this local family-owned institution and help keep the margs flowing 🍹

Been here 3+ times, as it is a walk from my place. Each time, I order the menudo (so my review may be biased). I love the menudo here, it is not heavy and does not have hominy. I appreciate this as some places make the soup mostly hominy, way too salty, and not much tripe. This serving has much tripe and is such a value for the price paid. I always have left overs for dinner! I've also had the tamal, and some bites from friends I brought with me (burrito, tostada, and margarita). All were good, the margarita didn't have much alcohol but still tasty. Once again, I love the proximation to home and menudo soup. Bonus points for the beautiful Our Lady of Guadalupe right when you enter the doors!

It's an inexpensive and importantly, quiet place on the strip. Open very late and service is great.

I highly recommend Puebla if you are looking for a casual Mexican dinner/marg with phenomenal bang for your buck! Maria (the owner) is incredible! Def a classic American Mexican restaurant (which I’d like to think we all love) with a Latin American taste in every dish. She not only made me feel so welcome but also told me all about the different beverage/food options when I asked her. I also got to chat with her about random things which was truly a delight. If you have time to stop by I’d absolutely recommend!

Been coming here since I was a young man, the food is always amazing, the older women serving also have amazing customer service. At times they can be a bit dry and moody, but the food quality never declines. My significant other and I come here on a weekly basis and are yet to be disappointed. Give them a chance! They are great people regardless of the reviews that are up. Best tacos on Milwaukee!
