At first I was a little annoyed that the wait time was long as hell lol(over an hour). Me personally I am a pretty big guy, this place is small, like very small. I went to this restaurant on an empty stomach, have not eaten for 21 hours straight so I didn’t enjoy the fact I had to wait almost 2 hours to get some food in me. Now once we were seated, ate arepas with tostones as appetizers, settled in with shots of Colombian liquor, this place is ok. What I couldn’t stand...
Went in during lunch when it’s a little quieter but this is definitely a unique place you could never guess what’s inside if you walk by. The steak was cooked more than the doneness I wanted but the marinade and the tenderness more than compensated for it! Delicious meat the sides were a little underwhelming however
I loved this place! Since we entered, its family atmosphere, its food has not lost its authenticity in Colombian food like other restaurants here in Chicago, first time I visited it and even the photo service was very good, the margaritas were just right, the fish, the meat and the chicharrón And not to mention the patacon with hogao, it is a delicacy of the gods! Carlos attended us, very cordial with us, I recommend him to💯
