agatha went above and beyond for me and my smoothie today. she helped me go through the menu to make sure i was getting something i enjoy, she put the perfect amount of cinnamon in my smoothie!!!

Unfortunately I just paid $18 for a smoothie!!! With 3 fruits and coconut flakes…. and I went In at 950 for the girl at the counter to tell me I can’t order anything custom “because they are closing” I reminded her of her closing time and told her there’s no way it’s going to take her ten minutes to make a smoothie. They even started to flicker the lights with people still there!!! After tasting this smoothie it clearly tastes like she put protein powder in it. You can taste the chalkiness. It’s very disappointing when you can’t even trust the people to serve you what you ordered just because she was upset that she had to make one more smoothie. Mind you I walked out at 954 and definitely made sure she knew the time too. So disappointing!

The coconut chia acai bowl is my favorite thing on the menu!

Jesus and Sandra were absolute studs and made me the best chocolate mousse smoothie I’ve ever had in my life. I’m so jacked up on protein and good vibes now that I am going to swim across Lake Michigan to Canada and put these wildfires out myself.

I was excited to try this place but it fell short in many aspects. I looked at the menu and saw most of the smoothies ranged between $10-$12. So, I ordered the seasonal Cherry Coconut smoothie but no price was listed. I was totally alarmed/shocked when it rang up $16!! Ok, I thought, maybe it will taste REALLY good - nope! Literally tasted like a basic berry smoothie I could have made at home. No flavor of cherry or coconut whatsoever. Total disappointment. Not to mention the server seemed completed disinterested in doing their job. No smile or greeting whatsoever.

i absolutely LOVE this spot and order from here often (like, at least once a week).
however their portions keep getting smaller and smaller, and the pricing doesn’t reflect that.
this last order, i got half an açai bowl…
disappointing for paying $20 for this…

I just ordered 247 dollars in juice and never received it and they don’t refund your money back it crazy never order from this place no more

DO NOT BUY Gift Certificates online from Pure Green. I recently purchased a $100 gift certificate and when the recipient tried to redeem the certificate she was told that there was a problem and they would not honor it. Phone calls and emails have not been answered. A real disappointment since they have a great product. Nevertheless they have lost me as a customer.

Smoothies are generally good (occasionally not blended thoroughly) but the service is comically bad. Consistently the least friendly service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been to multiple other Pure Greens and haven’t had issues with service, but every person that works here acts like you’re inconveniencing them just by walking in the door.

I understand it’s likely a minimum wage job but it is completely unacceptable to take resentment or bitterness out on customers.

The banana nut smoothie is the best smoothie on the menu in my opinion! A close second is their classic pure green smoothie if you like refreshing and fruity. The pure protein açaí bowl was so delicious, would order again. Lastly, got to try their Honey Magic steel-cut oatmeal which wasn’t my favorite since the oats were pretty watery and lacked flavor. Overall a good experience!

Stopped by Pure Green Chicago, and I’m so glad I did! The smoothies were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. The shop has a cozy vibe, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating, even letting us capture some content during our visit. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! 💛
