Waiter spilled soy sauce on my nice leather wallet. Did not comp the meal. Wallet smells like soy sauce now. Never going back here ever again

These are the best dumplings in the city. I’m convinced. They are known for their soup dumplings, so well known that there is a small freezer at the front with soup dumplings for sale. I promise you, you won’t find a variety of soup dumplings like this anywhere else.
The wait is long at every time of day, so if you plan to eat there, make sure you check in there first to get your name on the list, do some adventuring through Chinatown and then come back for your meal.
The service is also very attentive. They have a lot of people there so it’s not the place to linger over a meal, but the food is incredible, the servers are very professional, and the atmosphere is also very good.
Also, beware they do not validate parking at the lot across the street. I recommend taking the public transit if possible because parking is rough there.

Fantastic as always! Great good and great service as well!🙏 props to the gentleman who took care of my friends and I each time
Food: good handmade dumplings, I preferred the fried over the steamed, all the flavors were great
service: nice staff, be prepared for a wait but it moves fast, you can also check in online
Ambiance: nice interior, not a ton of space, I liked the dishes - they were very pretty

Guys, come on. This is clearly a tourist trap. First thing I see when I go inside is that all the people eating there INCLUDING the workers are American. The dumplings were decent and chasing good but not good enough. Let's talk about the price first. You pay $21 for 12 dumplings. That is $1.76 per bite. The dumplings had a lot of juice. Unfortunately, when a dumpling spot messes up their dough and under-cooks it, it's over. The dough either didn't have enough water or it was under-cooked. It wasn't that under-cooked but you could taste the dryness of the dough. The more you eat, the more you were reminded of the freezer isle at Costco. Another problem was the inconsistent starch at the bottom. This is a technique you use to give the bottom another layer that tastes light and crisp. Only some pieces had the starch at the bottom. If you want to serve dumplings with starch, you absolutely cannot put those dumplings in little individual small pockets in the takeout box. It does not fit. You can get 12 dumplings for under 10$ at many locations. I can't see why you would ever come here. The pork was also some kind of special pork. Nothing special about it at all.

I had this place bookmarked last year for my last trip to Chicago, but I didn’t end up getting around to eating there because my flight was delayed the first day. This time, since I had a lot of time to kill between the end of my conference until my flight, I decided to stop for a quick solo lunch. I came in around 12pm on a Monday afternoon and I was able to snag a table. By the time I left around 12:45pm, there were several people waiting for tables, so it definitely gets busy around lunch time.
I had the cucumbers in special sauce and an order of their pork and cabbage dumplings pan fried. Both were excellent. The dumplings were so juicy! They’re 12 to an order, but they’re about half the size of typical dumplings, so you’re really eating maybe 6 full sized dumplings. I demolished the entire order myself.
Service was very quick and very nice. Would 10/10 come back, but maybe with friends next time so I can get more dumplings to try!

Delicious vegan dumplings (two options available) and wonderful service! Staff was knowledgeable about any dietary concerns I had and recommended a tasty beer for me. I also liked that on the waitlist you had the option to share a table if that was okay with you.
Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings is great. The dumplings are fresh and tasty. I recommend the chicken and coriander steamed dumplings and the chicken and mushroom fried dumplings. The service is good, and the place is nice. Worth a visit

The multiple choice paper menus were fun. And the food is delicious 😋 The variety of shakes, slushies and teas is amazing! But I was happy to be served a nice hot pot of plain tea on a chilly day💓 Lots of friendly energy.
Parking: They validate discounts for the nearby parking lots.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of fun-looking food options to tempt them.

Amazing dumplings! Staff is always friendly and quick. However, they do rush guests a lot and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed/long-ish sit down dinner or lunch.
