Amazing vibe in this members only club! I came here for dinner the other night and dined in the lounge. The menu has something for everyone. The crab cakes and crudite are great options if you are looking for something to share. For dinner I had the halibut and it was very tasty. For dessert I had the french vanilla ice cream which was served with candied walnuts and maple glaze. So delicious!! They make a great cosmopolitan too! This is a beautiful place to come and chill, have a bite or a drink in a relaxing atmosphere. I will be dining here frequently!

This is one of the best kept secrets at UChicago. The food was great and the service even better. While the dinners are limited to members except first Friday Jazz night (open to everyone) we enjoy meeting fellow diners including professors, students and locals. Such great ambiance in a old school building. Also if you are staying at the club (which we also recommend) you can eat there as well. It's also a great place to stay if you are visiting Hyde Park or UChicago.

Relaxingly cordial atmosphere and a time to relax a bit before the evening .

The worst place to stay! No air conditioning during the record breaking heat in August of 2023! They never cared to turn on the AC. The rooms stink and the whole building smells disgusting. I don’t know if it is always like this or this old building now smells because of the heat and humidity in summer. It is absolutely disappointing and sad to end up here even for a minute.Rooms: My room is at 82 F during the summer with no AC.

The Quadrangle Club is a private, members only club. The place looked like it was out of Harry Potter, for it's decor. I was invited and if you get a chance to go, do it. The drinks and food were excellent. I had the steak and it was the best that I have had in years.

My husband and I were interested in having our wedding here. It was so hard to get in contact with the person in charge and then once we had a viewing, no follow up email was made to us regarding how to move forward with booking the venue. Disappointed nonetheless but luckily we had plan b for our wedding and was able to book elsewhere. Would recommend elsewhere if you’re seeking an organized venue where they’ll actually care about you instead of making you feel like a burden of their time.

I've had food at the Quad Club on a couple of different occasions, and it's always been great. The staff is super friendly, the food is great, and the restaurant is beautiful and grand. The quiche is delicious, and I love the house made lemonade.

Never stayed here but the lunch menu has lots of interesting choices. Try the quiche, or the special BLT. Loved the bread pudding dessert as well.

I'm a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of shooting a brunch wedding last summer at the quadrangle club. The space was beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for the wedding. It had a separate space for the ceremony and the reception. The staff was also very friendly.

So much history , so much potential, so little effort..

Plenty of street parking available (parked across the street from the entrance). The staff was very friendly. It's been many years since we've been here and will definitely be back. Heirloom carrots with ginger soup, a garden salad with grilled shrimp, salmon with roasted celery root and apples was the perfect meal. Topped it all off with their in-house made wild berry sorbet. OMG!! It was amazing!! Going back next week and bringing friends. I rediscovered my favorite club spot right in my backyard. ❤️

Beautiful old school club with nice rooms affiliated with U Chicago.. Don’t expect all the frills and amenities, but if you enjoy the club atmosphere or have an event nearby it’s nice.

I discovered this place when I played for a memorial service at the club. Beautiful historic building with high class amenities. I wish I had gone to U of C so that I could be a member!
