This is one of my favorite spots to eat at when visiting Chicago, especially when traveling solo. The bar is a great place to come hang out, enjoy a variety of wine, and have lunch or dinner. I love that they have half orders of salad, risotto, and pastas allowing to try a variety of different menu items. Their food is great. Some of my favorites are the house made gnocchi and ragu. I’ve also been to large business dinners here and the service has been great for those in a private room.

The food was amazing! I wish I would have known that I would be charged full price for the chicken parm when I didn’t get the pasta.

Love, love, love this place! Always a lively atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks, and the service never disappoints. The limoncello spritzes are worth sharing. Try the white bean dip. You know you’re gonna be hungry by the time you sit down. The pizzas are all perfect- light, chewy, fresh crust. Get a tiramisu- but share it! (And don’t eat it too soon before bed. It’s coated in pure espresso dust.)

Firstly, a table for 4, smaller than 3x3, there was less than 2 feet between every single table in the place, and how the Fire Marshall allows this place to stay open is bumfuzzling. The food was slightly edible, but the entire place is louder than most night clubs I've been in. Expect to pay +$200 before tip for 4, and expect to see your waiter 2x at most the entire night.

Best thing place for a nice or casual dinner! Definitely a more than one person since food is best shared here due to food coming out at different times. Super sweet staff, the food and bread was delicious, and came out fast! Gave my friend a free gelato for her birthday. 10/10 recommend if you are craving amazing Italian food.

I recently visited this restaurant and found the experience to be fairly average overall. While the food tasted decent, the portion sizes were quite small for the price (compared to other Italian places in Chicago), which was disappointing.
The service also left room for improvement. It seemed like there was only one server managing multiple tables, which made things feel rushed and slow at the same time. We had to wait longer than expected for both our order and follow-ups during the meal.
The restaurant has potential, but better staffing and more generous portions would definitely improve the overall dining experience.

I love vodka pasta so imagine my immediate disappointment when that plate arrived at the table. Dry grocery noodles. All other photos are examples of what good pasta looks like and the worst looking one is yup from here (full portion)!! Maybe they're from scratch ones better bc heard it good? Don't order imported section

I am so hopeful for Italian places and frequently reminded why I make it myself instead of spending money to be disappointed. Got the tortellini based on reading other reviews. The prosciutto was phenomenal, the pasta texture was above average, but the alfredo and tortellini cheese filling was bland and disappointing. It came with untoasted slices of bread, decent olive oil, and powdered Parmesan. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed.
