The empanadas with spinach were amazing, and the tres leches cake… thank god they didn’t give me more or I would’ve had to ask them to roll me out - don’t miss this gem! Really cool día de los muertos and Halloween decorations!
This seems to be a family owned spot and has a very diverse and big menu. Two main sitting areas plus some tables outside gives you plenty of options. The Guac is very good an Margaritas are strong and not sugary. Family oriented and go during amahe has her Halloween or Xmas decorations out.
Festive atmosphere. They are decked out literally for DAY of the DEAD. A Celebration to pay respect to family and friends who have passed, a time when the boundaries of the dead may "still be with us". Richness of color, mirrors reflecting the pretty flags streaming across the ceiling. The food is delicious. We had baked empanadas as appetizers with house margaritas.
