Mole is my favorite dish ever. My mom used to make it from scratch. It's not easy to make from scratch. Now that I'm a vegetarian, I was so happy to see a vegan option, and I must say it was delicious! I can't wait to try the other dishes they offer. The Tamarindo water tasted very fresh. Not too sweet.
Easy street parking on a Sunday morning was a plus. If you love real mexican food, try this spot out. You won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite places. I’ve been coming here for about 8-9 years. The food has been consistently great throughout that time. The staff is always nice and they really care about what they’re serving. The menu items are delicious and taste authentic. The salsas are bomb. The horchata can be a little hit or miss. Other than that, I really have no complaints. The new location has a nice mural and a bar. The ambiance is cozy and like I said, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The tacos de al pastor are delicious. The super burrito is probably my favorite thing to get, with either Xochimilco or Garibaldi filling + queso de papa + aguacate. Sheeeeeeesh fire. The quesadillas are big, and the flor de calabaza are my fave. The tamales are pretty damn good and a nice size. Do yourself a favor and come here. You won’t regret it. I bring loved ones here that aren’t vegan/vegetarian and they love it and they always want to come back.

Best vegan Mexican food outside of Mexico that we’ve had! Taste and texture of all the proteins replicated their traditional counterpart flavors so well. Service was welcoming and the environment was colorful and comfortable. Coming back next time we’re in Chicago. Thank you!

Nice place, loved it. I ordered the barbacoa quesadilla and the seasoning was great with the cheese. They gave me a frozen glass with lime and Tajin to pour my Cerveza Pacifico. Really enjoyed my visit, and also Alex the waitress was amazing and always kept an eye on us. Much love to this place♥️

NO LONGER BYOB. THEY MAKE AMAZING COCKTAILS.

Came in for dinner on a Saturday evening. Very friendly and great atmosphere. Took our drink and app order quickly. Followed by the food. The cocktail was super duper good. Mezcal with Cucumber and some spicy peppers. The chip and guacamole with good. And they shared a sample of their chunk salsa which had a ton of heat!

Our food arrived and was extremely under seasoned. It kinda turned the great start into a mediocre meal. I am sure they can bump up the flavor.
