Asked for a turkey burger with 1000 island, I noticed there wasn’t any on the burger. I asked for a side of it, the server said they didn’t have any. I don’t understand why I would even get it served without asking me if the burger was okay without it.

This very basic fast food at a non basic price. Food was ok, tuna melt was watery and dripped water everywhere. Chips were soft and soggy, and we paid $100 for dinner. Price was simply not justified

This was a nice place to stop for lunch after visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo. I had the RJ Grunts chicken nod to italian beef and it was great! Service was fast and friendly. This is definitely one of those places you should try to visit if you are in the neighborhood!

Great place, great food and clean toilets, this place had it all for a reasonable price. Definitely worth a shot!

The atmosphere and the service was great! We got the buffalo nachos and the chips were a little stale, but still good.

One thing I shld preface with is that when you have a bad experience at LEYE restaurants they will respond and try and make it right, which was the case with my experience at RJ Grunts. I’ve never had a problem with the service at any LEYE restaurant. I hadn’t been to RJ Grunts since the early 80s and returned last year on a walk home from the park. The food here is just awful. I got a crispy California chicken wrap. The chicken and the rest of the ingredients came straight from their “salad bar”, was not fresh hot and crispy but cold, soggy and dry. The fries were terrible! They were soft and had been sitting out for who know how long. McDonalds doesn’t even do that. It was something that shouldn’t have been sent out at all. My husband got the veggie burger which was falling apart and mushy, flavorless. LEYE restaurants recycle the same menu and taste the exact same at every single one their restaurants. I don’t get the popularity of this place at all. Dont bother if you want good food. It’s also repulsive to charge high prices for food and add a service fee to the bill. They will remove it, but it’s terribly annoying. After reading all the negative reviews after having dined here since last year, it seems they have no intention of fixing the problems ppl complain about. Get a clue
