A dive bar? With Bourbon County on tap? Rabbits could be Moe's tavern right out of the Simpsons, but don't let that fool you. No Duff's here, but there is always a better than average and sometimes exceptional tap lineup for beer geeks. But don't let the secret out that you can get the full BCBS experience here in the fall without the crowd.
Best bar on the NW side by far. Food is above average, especially considering the price, and the beer list is better than 99% of bars in Chicago. If you want a dive bar feel with a specialty beer bar tap list (over 20 taps!), this place is the best.
My friend and I were in the area for the weekend and stopped by here on a Saturday night. We were a bit nervous because we’d never been before but let me tell you… Best service ever!!! We felt instantly welcomed, both bartenders were super nice and talked to us like human beings, instead of just customers. He even let us choose the music! The atmosphere was perfect. If I lived in Chicago I’d be there every weekend. Definitely recommend.
