This bar is cool. On a nice day, you can sit outside overlooking the river. When we were there it was rainy, so we sat inside. The vibe and atmosphere is great and the food and drinks were excellent. The Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken was recommended by the waitress and we loved it. They are on the pricier side though.NOTE: the destination fee charged by the hotel CANNOT be applied to this bar. We hope this was made more clear to us.

As a San Francisco resident who kept visiting Chicago very often and visited so many hotel bars, I always had an impression that Chicago didn't know how to make good cocktails, but Raised--an urban rooftop bar prove me wrong.The tequila based cocktail I had was so good that made me miss my hometown Taiwan.Also I had Taiwanese popcorn chicken as my snack to go with my cocktail.Great vibe.Awesome staff.Great music.Good food and cocktails.Love it.

Very upset I went on 3/23 and they charged my debit card and it processed with my bank. And today the 3/26 I see a pending amount with it stating final amount waiting for the merchant. When calling this merchant the manager basically told me it’s my bank not them and that I should be mad at my bank. The manager even states that’s it happens every weekend with debit card holders. I have to spend more time waiting to speak to my bank stating what the manager told me now I have to wait for 3-5 business days until the merchant to give that final amount before I can dispute it. I’m highly disappointed and unhappy with this company. I’ve been to restaurants my entire adult life and never had them paid for the service then turn and wait for a 2nd pending charge to clear

Our party of six had an outstanding experience at Raised, thanks to the impeccable service provided by Luis on a Friday night. From start to finish, Luis's attentiveness approach made our evening truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-notch service and delicious cocktails.
The view is pretty cool but it took soooo long to get a drink here and it wasn't even really busy.Tried to get a drink at the bar as was told if I was sitting outside needed to wait for table service so we went and sat outside and waited. Eventually a guy came out but he said oh I'll come back for you in a bit so we waited again.Then another server eventually came out and made some kind of sarcastic comment about not looking at the drinks menu beforehand. Which was on a QR code on the table somewhere.I just wanted to pay some money in exchange for a drink but it was a painful experience.

Great vibe, short menu, and all items we had were very delicious , creative. Great presentation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices in line with area.
We came here because we were in town and wanted a place only to eat with a nice view. Don't come here if you're under 21 because they won't let you in even if you're only getting dinner, which is ridiculous when you also offer dinner at the restaurant and not just drinks.

This restaurant is a hidden gem inside the Renaissance Hotel. The food is exceptional and the atmosphere is stunning.
Definitely my go to! We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs in the hotel lobby. Food was amazing, service was top tier!! We stayed simple, but it was fantastic. Veggies were pickled and new to me, but worth it. I will b back Staytion!
