Better than average sushi. If you want the best in the area, this one stands alongside Lawrence Fish Market in terms of freshness, quality and consistency. The presentations are not sloppy and border perfection. There is great balance of flavors with the maki that doesn’t overwhelm the fish. The fatty fishes are buttery and velvet and carry a stronger flavor. The prices are justifiable by the quality and presentation, I mean that’s why we got to restaurants, isn’t it?

The appetizers were very tasty. The tempura veggies and the house salad a must. We had the house special Maki roll and the the smoked salmon roll. Delicious. Service was excellent

The food was delicious! I tried scallops and Squid for the first time and it was so good. It just melts in your mouth. Now I want to go again

Absolutely horrible for a solo diner. Ordered omakase and had 20-30 mins in between the sushi courses while waited for families to finish. Paige, the server, when I asked how much longer it was going to be, rudely said I was less than halfway finished. I had a 515pm reservation and at 7pm was less than halfway done?
My meal was absolutely disappointing. they were waiting on every single family to finish to make each course. Absolutely unacceptable. They do not have contact information on their site or I would have addressed this internally.

Food and ambiance were wonderful. Tempura combo was one of the best we've had. Unfortunately, our waitress was not very friendly, and given that it was our first time there, and we ordered the Omakase, it detracted a bit from our overall experience. We will be back though!

Raisu has become our favorite date restaurant! The service and the ambiance are always cozy and warm. We love all the sushi creations the chef makes from a beautiful and fresh chirashi bowl to their fancy special maki rolls. Their ingredients are always fresh and top notch. The 3 different types of sake on a sake flight are a great addition to the meal. They all complement the fresh fish beautifully! You can count on Raisu offer an excellent dining experience and a great service!!!
Raisu is a neighborhood gem! Their specials are very reasonable for the high-quality sushi. We always get the Nigiri Night special (6 pc chef’s choice nigiri and a signature maki) that is amazing. The Seafood Soup is unique, and one we get takeout of since it’s so delicious. Don’t miss out on this spot!

I believe the fish was frozen and thawed multiple times. Some of the fish tasted fishy. The tables are sticky. The only positive was that the server was amazing.
