No reservations, but the wait is worth it. They have two well-marked vegan options. I had the vegan ramen, and it was the best I’ve had in the city!

We LOVE Ramen Wasabi. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. On both our visits, Samuel made our entire party feel welcome and appreciated. Ramen Wasabi has a wonderful drink menu, making really hard to decide what to order. We'll definitely be back again soon!

Gorgeous restaurant, atmosphere, decor, excellent food. Wonderful staff, especially Andres and Jonathan. I heard David Byrne ate here! This place definitely ate, if you know what I’m saying

Tried this spot for the first time, and will certainly be coming back. Andreas was our server, and was extremely informative and personable. We ended up ordering Asahi beers to pair with our spicy garlic and tonkatsu ramen, and it was incredibly delicious. Would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting an amazing ramen experience in chicago!

45 minute wait on a Saturday night was well worth it! Started with the Baby Kale and Tofu Salad and Karaage and both were excellent. Super fresh veggies in the salad and the spicy mayo was a perfect accompaniment to the chicken.
Partner had a double Mini Char Siu Bowl with pork belly. Generous portion with lean, flavorful pork and sauce that wasn’t overly sweet. I had the Original Tonkotsu which was equally tasty. Broth makes or breaks ramen and Ramen Wasabi does it right. I highly recommend the flavor booster to add a little spice!

Classic case of style over substance, food was mediocre at best, wait staff were more concerned about taking plates away than letting people eat. If you want any basic condiments with your meal like salt, pepper, chilli oil or anything that’s a staple in every other restaurant I’ve ever been to, sorry you’re out of luck. We made the grave mistake of asking for some chilli oil to try and improve the taste of our bland ramen and were treated as if we had committed a crime. To add insult to injury, they charged us extra for the condiments! 😅 unless you want to be treated rudely, served mediocre food, and nickel and dimed for every ingredient, I’d suggest going to Ramen San or Hokkaido where the food is way better as is service. Pathetic experience

The food was okay, but definitely not worth waiting an hour for. The service, unfortunately, made the experience worse. Our waitress was impatient. They tried to take our order within minutes of us sitting down, and the moment we finished eating, they asked for payment while we were still in the middle of a conversation. It felt rushed and uncomfortable overall.

Ramen wasabi is a valid spot. I went on a Sunday night at around 8pm. The space was full and lively. We did have to wait about 5 mins for all the online delivery drivers to get their food which delayed seating. We ordered some drinks (very good), edamame (always valid), teriyaki wings which were sticky and flavorful, spicy black garlic ramen (soo good! The broth was flavorful and the pork fell apart as you picked it up), the tonkotsu ramen which by itself honestly lacked flavor but luckily we ordered the flavor bomb upgrade and that helped a lot. Overall I would return! Parking is kind of brutal but stay patient and you’ll be blessed.

I ordered the Original Tonkotsu ramen, which was quite delicious. A bit long of a wait for the food but it made sense since it was so busy, and on a Tuesday evening no less. Will definitely be coming back for more!
