We found Range after quickly searching brunch places nearby in Lincoln Park since we were at a morning event nearby but out of our neighborhood. Everything about this place is not only beautiful but top notch. The people are so welcoming at the door and the service is amazing. On top of that the food is exquisite and so beautifully prepared and thought-out with delicious flavor combinations. I loved the eggs Benedict with squash which was perfect and a welcome change from bread on the bottom replaced by delicious squash. The chilaquiles were superb and the lemonade with a light hint of rosemary was delightful. As a Latina POC I have often felt a bit out of place at the mostly white upscale places in Lincoln Park but we were received at Range by an incredibly warm & diverse staff of all colors who showed the incredible care and love they put into the space and the food. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in the neighborhood!

Ambiance was nice and the waiter was pretty, sweet and smelled lovely but the food was subpar. they did take off the soup due to coming only 2 mins before my entree but I don't think I'll be back unless for drinks. Short menu and my friends burger was under seasoned. OH and expensive for no reason lol but thats Chicago for you.

Range never fails! It has always been a favorite spot for me and my family, always great service and food its out of this world from the appetizers to main meal and desserts , oh and the cocktails are delicious, I went to the Mexican night with my girlfriend and some friends, we loved everything about it hopefully they do it again soon, Range its the place to go if you want something tasty and fresh !! If I could give a million stars I will give it to them..
I ate here and got food poisoning from the Chilaquiles. My boyfriend who ate about a quarter of this dish also got food poisoning. It was definitely from this as we ate a pizza with friends later who did not get sick so we were able to deduce where we were poisoned. Not sure what part of the dish it was from but I still do not feel well and was throwing up amongst other terrible stomach issues last night. Must be an unsanitary kitchen or using rancid food. Gross.

I ate here and got food poisoning from the Chilaquiles. My boyfriend who ate about a quarter of this dish also got food poisoning. We hosted a private event (a baptism party) at Range and were incredibly impressed by the food and the service. The menu was seasonally appropriate and it’s clear Range cares about the quality of all ingredients. French toast was sourdough and so tasty. All the kids at our party were able to order off of the kids menu and were so pleased with the options. We would definitely host a private event at Range again.

A wonderful neighborhood eatery with fresh, seasonal menu options. The service is prompt and warm - the cocktails thoughtful. There’s always a balanced offering of vegetarian dishes that are creative and not just a house salad.
There are lots of seating options of booths and tables, indoors, outside on the sidewalk, or next to open folding windows.

Range restaurant is the Best hidden gem in Chicago. Located in the heart of Lincoln Park, it deserves its 5 star rating across the board. The ambience is such an elegant, cool vibe featuring art and design exclusive to Range and its name. The food is outstanding and uses all fresh, organic ingredients. Service is next level and overseen by the one and only, Joseph Palmer, the Manager. We just hosted a private wedding party for our son and his fiance and it was absolutely a night to remember.
