A nearly 11 year old spot though under-trafficked with excellent brunch on our first time here. The sweet potato omelette was excellent. The turnip omelette was also very good. Chose a side of heartwarming diner style pancakes which have options for add ons (chocolate chips, banana), gluten free, or carrot pancakes. Drip coffee is quite good and surprisingly strong. Service is decidely very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is relaxed upscale and looks as if they had just opened. Highly recommend.

This place is adorable! It's low-key yet upscale. I placed my order online for pick up at the restaurant. As soon as I walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. I arrived at the Range a little bit early, so my order wasn’t ready. The staff was nice and polite, they sat me down and offered me water while I waited for my order to be ready. In about 5 minutes later, I received my order. (It wasn't the restaurant's fault that my order wasn't ready on time, as I arrived earlier than the projected time when I placed my order online.) When I got home, both my husband and I agreed that the Range is one of our favorite restaurants in the area! My husband ordered the Range burger with bacon and a side of fries, and I ordered a veggie burger with a side of salad. We also got chicken fingers as an appetizer for both of us to share. The food was delicious! It was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I thought the portion sizes were generous! My vegan burger was big, and the salad portion was also substantial. I found the prices to be reasonable for the portion sizes we received. I wholeheartedly recommend the Range and give it a 10/10.

Great for brunch. We had brunch for 6 and everything was great. I had the oatmeal which looked and tasted like a (not too sweet) French toast. Everyone loved the food. The service was outstanding.

We love this locally owned restaurant and the host and chef (Louis) are top notch. Terrific food! Wonderful selection of hard liquors and classy wines from all over. Highly recommended! They offer an appetizer called Beet Tostados….YUMMY!!
Amazing place! It's the second time I've gone and it doesn't disappoint. It's super pretty and the food is great, everything very natural and not at all greasy or heavy. I enjoyed very much. Great service (we were going to share the burger and they were nice enough to tell us about it themselves). I recommend the veggie burger and the lamb (although sometimes they are not there because the menu changes). I will return for sure.

Lovely fresh food, quiet ambiance when most other brunch places are noisy and crowded, and servers were wonderful checking in every few minutes to see if the kids were okay. Really good find!

The food was way too over priced compared to any other restaurant in the area. It was extremely bland and covered in suace/not presentable. We left without barley eating. The service was hard to come by as was the bar staff. We won't be surprised to see this placed closed by the end of this year. Summer house and Avli are great alternatives!

My wife and I have spent many breakfasts, lunches and dinners at Range during our 10 years in Chicago. It is our absolute favorite restaurant in the city and wouldn't trade it for anything. The atmosphere/staff is so warm and inviting, the food is outstanding and I would put their cocktails up against any other in Chicago.
