I have lots of complaints from Chicago when it comes to Indian food. Rangoli and Vajra and some stuff at Namaste Chicago are the only 3 places I am grateful to have I found, given everything else is so bad.Best Biryani and Best Samosa in Chicago. I have been looking for Biryani that I am used to eating in India. This comes the closest and the best. Every other restaurant in Chicago sells masala rice with chicken or lamb. None are biryani. If someone could just added potato and egg Rangoli's biryani can become authentic Kolkata Biryani.I have to say very few places get the samosa right. Their samosa comes closest to home. When I say home I mean UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal. We don't add peanuts or unmashed potatoes in our samosa. The potato was properly mashed with love with no lumps and thoroughly mixed, with right amount of spice and salt. Everything was just right. Crispy at the corners and right amount of brown.I have not tried anything else from here.. I would love to. But thank you so much. Hope they keep up the good work and stay consistent.
Solid and consistent food. We have only ordered delivery, but see there is a new Belmont location we might try in person. Chicken Saag - chicken is a bit dry. Wish they still had the Saag Paneer, but they took it off the menu. Chicken Chettinad - perfectly lightly spicy. Paneer Butter Masala - tried this, it's got good sauce but didn't prefer the texture of this paneer. We tried this in place of my much loved Saag Paneer, but that was recently removed from the menu. We always get the fried appetizers and the chicken biryani and a Chicken Tikka Masala for this kids.

Editing my original 5 star review. The quality, service, and value of this place has fallen off a cliff in a few years. Prices are any high for small portions, the menus are edited with white out, the dishes no longer even come with rice. Not sure if a change in ownership or what, but this place no longer deserves your business.

Paneer butter masala gave me food poisoning so severe I was vomiting for 48 hours. This restaurant has severe quality control issues. Food may be good but eat at your own risk, not worth the health risk in my opinion.

So I ordered the chicken tikka masala that I absolutely love but this time there was a freaking WHOLE ASS STAPLE IN IT!!! Never had anything bad like this, or potentially life-threatening like this ever happened before which is why I decided to go with two stars, and the second star is because what I do order from here is usually fire. But 0MFG! I can't freaking believe that there was A STAPLE IN THERE!!!! we might be reigning in our business with this place since I found this metal in my mouth here but hey! if you like, potentially life, threatening surprises (you never know! GOTHS DO BE OUT THERE etc. ) potentially hidden in some REALLY sick Indian food then take that chance! this is the place for you!

The food here is actually really good I've eaten here a few times. The only problem I have is the cost. I feel like the prices are too high which forces me to eat here on rare occasions when I want to pay an arm and a leg. Outside of that the food, the service, and the ambience are all great!
Good Taste of Biryani and chicken tikka same like Indian

Cafeteria quality food with small portions at ridiculously high prices. $17.50 for overcooked butter chicken, $4.50 for a single piece of dry garlic naan, and $6 for two flavorless samosas. The only thing going for this place was the chutney for the samosa. You are better off getting Costco or Trader Joe’s butter chicken and naan for a fraction of the price and significantly better flavor and quality.
