Rangoli has the best lamb vindaloo I’ve had in the city! My wife and I tried this for the first time and were really impressed. She had the chicken tikka masala and loved it.

The service was excellent and the prices were fair. Portions are quite large.

We will definitely be back.

Great new Indian restaurant with cleverly appointed fresh decor, paintings and even plush decor pillows. Food was scrumptious. We did the chicken tikka masala which was generous and returned for Saturday lunch to take advantage of their unlimited dosa special (South Indian crepes stuffed with multiple options) for a flat fee! Love their glassware of copper and brass glasses. Service was really nice and prompt and courteous! A solid Indian restaurant that has great ambience and service for dine-in option is definitely a much needed win for Lakeview!

Food was incredible, I had the Lamb Masala with a Masala Chai and the Butter Naan. The Lamb was flavorful and veggies complemented it very well. The staff could not have been nicer, they thought I was struggling with the spice (I wanted it to be spicier actually, just had a rough day generally lol) and gave me a sample of the raita and some of the rice pudding! The raita is not my thing, I don't love yogurt but it was still pretty good and the rice pudding was incredible, it had nutmeg and cinnamon and it melted my heart. 10/10 would recommend and will be going back soon

This was our 3rd visit and each time they only get better and better ! The food is soooo good and if you like spicy they won’t disappoint!! The service is EXCELLENT!! They patiently answer all my questions regarding the items on the menu!! I had the shrimp kabobs tonight and they were delicious and it comes with rice, naan and a delicious Marsala sauce! The location is great…not far from the Belmont Station. The restaurant is beautiful inside! It’s BYOB and there’s a liquor store right on the corner by the Belmont station.

I came here Rangoli kabob on a whim, I was looking for some spicy food for I was dealing with a mild sinus infection. I got more than I bargained for the food and service is excellent and when I informed my server of my sinus condition she made my dish extra spicy. Also made my Chai tea w/o milk and it was excellent as well.
If you use food to heal Rangoli Kabob is more than food for the soul it is an experience for for soul
3 Days later my condition improved.

I just discovered the most amazing Indian restaurant in the city and I can't recommend it enough. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, with authentic decorations that transport you to India. The food is simply sublime. The menu offers a variety of options to suit all tastes, from classic dishes to more innovative creations.
The flavors are intense and authentic, and the presentation is impeccable.
The service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
Our server helped us choose the perfect dishes and made us feel at home. Prices are excellent considering the quality and quantity of the food.
Definitely a place to go.

I had specifically asked not to make the malai kofta too sweet and still they made it as if it’s dipped in sugar syrup. Completely inedible! Also, there was hardly any cottage cheese in the kofta balls. It was mostly just potatoes. Disappointing!

Ordered the malai kofta and it was disgustingly sweet. While ordering I specifically asked and requested them not to make it overtly sweet ( a common enough occurrence with Indian restaurants). Despite that the malai kofta came out sweet as a dessert. This is just lazy cooking and I am never ordering from this place.

This place is really incredible. I love trying all kinds of different restaurants in Chicago and after trying this place today, I think it might be my new favorite in the area. Really amazing food. The people working there were so nice and you can tell the food is made with love. I walked home in the rain and didn’t even mind that I was getting soaked because I was so happy after my meal. I look forward to visiting often.
