Ambiance wasn't great, chairs were peeling and overall seemed a little run down. Food was not good. We were really hoping for a great sushi dinner. We couldn't even finish our sushi rolls and had to go to another restaurant afterwards.
The food was phenomenal. The service was excellent. The ambience was perfect. This is by far the best sushi I have ever had and I've been to 60 countries. I would come back to Chicago just to have sushi here at Rebar.
Sasha was our waitress and she was very helpful, cheerful, and polite. The service was a bit slow since it was the 25th of December, but other than that we had an amazing time! Would go again and would recommend it ☺️
