Went for lunch yesterday. Walked in got seated immediately (empty restaurant ) ordered the tortilla soup it was tomato soup with tortilla chips (not to my liking) I ordered the chipotle spicy pasta wasn’t a fan of the flavor mixture it had peas & asparagus kinda random but I gave it a go. Also ordered the chicken parm. It was tasty xtra cheap on the tiniest portion of spaghetti. Was freezing during lunch because a side door was open and a draft was coming in. Had to request that they shut the door. I’ve eaten there once before for breakfast and was impressed with the cafe and chilaquiles. My recommendation go for breakfast but I’d skip them for lunch and dinner.

So I went there with my family and I got the chocolate chip pancakes and they got there they were so freaking delicious and so soft I recommend you to get them!

Saw a posting on Facebook and decided to come this was. Cafe de olla it's fantastic. I love that they have vegetarian label for vegetarian food. I love their decor. My only complaint is my daughter's French toast were a bit too soggy.
They charged us automatic gratuity on a table of 3, what restaurant does that?

Not crowded, but the after church crowd is here in the dining room along with the Bears fans watching at the bar. Bathrooms needed attention (out of soap) barely an hour after opening this morning. Music was kind of loud and did not seem to match the vibe of this place. Still, plenty of families enjoying their lunch and great service. Food was good and prices were fair.

We had a wedding at Red Barrel October 24, 2025 and we have to come here and give them 5 stars for everything. Everything was truly amazing, from food to the friendly staff. Thank you so much! We will definitely plan another event here.
