This is one of my favorite Ice cream place. They are known for their salted caramel ribbon! So good. They also make their own waffle cone. If u have a dog they will give u a free whip cream cup for ur doggie too! Super friendly staff that are patient to let you try all the flavors you want.
This place is amazing! And this was clearly evidenced by the long line of patrons waiting their turn. Knowing this would be my only chance to try Red Mango's famous macaron ice cream sandwiches, my boyfriend and I went 100% overboard and ordered 5 sandwiches between the two us. Let me assure you.. You can not go wrong with any flavor. Also, their molasses cookies are amazing and the IL Times even published Red Mango's recipe for them (HINT HINT!).
Great location for ice cream sandwich macaroons. Although if you're strictly in search for ice cream sandwich cookies, just stick to Diddy Riese in West Wood. Be prepared to stand in line, for this place is a cool lil spot in IL for desert.
