I ordered the wings, ReaLLy?!?!!! everyone sells wings how do you do this?
Visited for the first time during Juneteenth weekend. Parking was tough, and while we were seated quickly, we were warned service would be slow, and it was. It took 15 minutes for a server to arrive and over 30 minutes to get our food. We skipped drinks to avoid an even longer wait.
My friend enjoyed her meal, but my burger was pink in the middle, which was disappointing after such a long wait, especially since I wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked. Getting the check also took longer than expected. The workers were nice, but the service just wasn’t there, they were likely short-staffed, but my oh my, we didn’t expect that kind of delay with so many open seats.
My friend has been here before and likes the vibe, so she says it was just a bad day. Personally, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but if I’m in the area again, I might give it another shot on a quieter day.
It was quite ok, though - the waiter came to ask - how are we? - very late. Went to the bar to get drinks.
Great place by the beach.
Inattentive, incompetent and ridiculous. I had to say hello first to the young Spanish woman taking orders and she had an attitude as I mentioned that I was ready to order. Next, the shrimp and fries have like no flavor. I had to come back home and cook it myself again to make sure it tasted up to par. I think it’s safe to say I will never return here. Definitely overpriced and they add gratuity without letting you know. Somebody please tell me how shrimp and fries and a side of mac & cheese can cause damn near $40 please?
Our servers a great job taking care of our large group on a slow Monday evening. We are very appreciative of their service and accommodations!
We absolutely loved the beautiful location and our waitress was awesome, but the bloody Mary’s were bad. Way too salty and very weak. I asked the bartender to tone it down, so she dumped out half and added water to the rest. I’m not totally sure it even had vodka. And the thing that bothered me was that she couldn’t be bothered to even smile or be polite even though I was very kind as I was lead bartender at a busy bar on the west coast for years.
I knew about this place, never came, came and had a ball. Now im on repeat. KevYn, the bartender at Reggies on the beach is AWESOME. GREAT PERSONALITY AND THATS A HOT ASSET ? Food was GREAT. Not what I expected???❤️. Furniture upgrades would be cool??♀️
Sorry it took me so long to come and experience Reggies on the beach

Great little bar on the beach with pub-style food and excellent drinks. Fair prices and an absolutely incredible view of the beach and the lake. Go here. It’s the best little beach front bar in all of Chicago. Plus, you can go for a swim before of afterwards, since the public beach and restrooms are right there too. You can also park our bikes here and ride to the lake front park from here. In the words of Nacho Libre… It’s the best!

Stopped at Reggies on a bike ride and was not disappointed!! The outdoor ambiance is unbeatable!! Very clean and nice beach area! The drinks were on point and the bar tender (Kevyn) was a hit with his service!! I highly recommend this spot as it is Def a gem of the south side!!

Because this is an outdoor restaurant on the beach, it was challenging trying to eat my food and drink my beverage.
insects were flying around and there were notes on the saying refills would not be provided if insects landed in your drink. So you would have to try to place napkins over the beverage and attempt to eat your meal comfortably. There was one waitress on the floor.
They need a shield over the area to help prevent the wind and insects from ruining eating meals and drinking beverages. It was very difficult trying to eat and enjoy my meal.
