Cute bar, great for late nights too, but Iāve had multiple bad experiences with the servers and door men at this bar (only the male servers) and yet I keep going back. I am always hesitant to return tho. Good place to grab a drink w friends but you never know what kind of service youāre going to get and that kind of ruins it for me.

From the moment I sat down, Liz welcomed me with a warmth and friendliness that made me feel like I had been a regular for years. Her energy is magneticāgenuine, attentive, and full of heart. I asked for a Mezcal-based drink, and what followed was a masterclass in both mixology and hospitality. Liz didnāt just pour a drink; she took the time to educate me on the different types of Mezcal they carry, highlighting her personal favorites with thoughtful explanation. She crafted a cocktail from the menu that was excellent, and then she created something completely originalāoff the cuff, just for meāand it was phenomenal. Truly one of the best drinks Iāve ever had.
Throughout the night, Liz remained impressively attentiveānot just to me, but to every guest at the bar. She was checking in, topping off waters, and ensuring everyone was taken care of with an ease and focus that made it look effortless. Itās no surprise that I later learned from the manager, Steve, that Liz recently won an award for her outstanding work and was promoted to shift lead. She absolutely embodies leadershipāher skill, presence, and attention to detail are unmatched.
I even joked with Steve that I didnāt want anyone else to make my drinksāLiz had set the bar (pun intended) so high, anything less just wouldnāt do.
I came in tonight looking for a 4 AM bar. What I found was world-class service, creativity, and heart. I will be coming back to Remedyānot because itās open late, but because Liz is there. And when Liz is behind the bar, youāre not just having a drinkāyouāre having an experience.
Makayla is one of the newer additions to the Remedy team but feels like a staple personality thatās been there all along. Incredibly personable, generous with her time and succeeds in making the entire crowd feel at home even on a dreary, early-Sunday evening!

Came here after a couple year hiatus and had the best time. It was my birthday and I'm a red wine drinker and Carlos the bartender suggested a really really good wine and gave great conversation. So glad I went and will definitely come around and tap with Carlos again!!

What a complete gem of a bar! Everyone at Remedy is so amazing and friendly! It wasn't just a regular bar, we went on an unforgettable journey of learning about chartreuse, it's origins, its floral roots, and had some drinks that were completely unique!! Unlike anything I have ever tried before in Chicago!!!! And we got to play some really FUN retro games at the bar!! I will definitely be back! Thank you so much Steve and Makayla!! You guys are the BEST!
