I’m so sad they’re closed. They had the best Sicilian pizza in Chicago. I wasn’t able to get out here much as I live in the burbs but their Sfincione was worth it

Hot honey soppressata pizza is perfectly sweet and spicy.

Perfect great cheese. Nic tomatoes and basil. Costed me not much.

Call first before you come to this location because on Google they say they’re open and I walk there with my family of six just to see that they are not open little sketchy they make their own hours. What else is going on there makes you really think.

I've always enjoyed this place, but it seems to have changed. The service was atrocious. We were served a different pizza than we ordered, and the waitress first blamed the cook staff, and then came back to blame us for "ordering in a confusing way". For the rest of the meal she dropped off the pizza and the check without a word. The pizza was also quite terrible. It was tasteless, and the sauce was so watery it dripped off like it was completely liquid.I'm bummed, I really liked this place before. I'm not sure if they changed ownership or something? I know it was closed for an extended period of time.We will not be coming back to "next time, order your pizza differently", as we were so eloquently told by the waitress who blamed everyone around her.

Great pizza but kinda doesn’t feel like it has any theme or any idea what it’s supposed to be, it’s a pizza place, dive into that maybe.

I will update with a positive review when management updates the opening dates and hours to reflect reality. Is Renaldi's closed permanently or only temporarily?? This is a long-operating neighborhood pizza joint that has served high quality pizza for decades. The past few times I have tried to eat here, however, the door is locked without explanation. A couple of weeks ago I came half an hour before closing and the door was locked. I assumed that they may have closed early that night as an unfortunately large number of businesses in the neighborhood have been closing early in recent months. Today, however, Renaldi's was shuttered and locked at 7PM on the night of an evening home Cubs game - the exact sort of evening when pizza pubs in this neighborhood usually do a brisk business. Please either update your business hours to reflect the reality of when this restaurant is actually operating, or if the restaurant is closed permanently it would be great to post some sort of sign on the door to indicate this. Thank you

One of the most underrated pizza joints in Chicago. Perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. Eating it right out of the oven was definitely a game changer versus take out.

A GEM to the Lakeview EAST neighborhood since 1973!..Would get pizza/wings to go when my buddies lived in the neighborhood for FOOTBALL;Now I live in the neighborhood also and we still order our wings/pizza for football & wrestling PPV events!?We also dine in occasionally..Definitely a Chicago classic.

First they didn’t have my salad ready, then upon arriving home I found my salad was just lettuce… just lettuce…the pizza was also completely undercooked and stuck to the box when I order it well done. Upon calling and asking for a refund, the manager wanted the pizza and the lettuce back. Welp it’s in the trash now. Just like my refund I never received, and the service and quality of this place.

Surprisingly horrible food. Garlic bread was store bought sandwich bread with a slice of melted provolone. Pizza had a tomato’s sneeze worth of sauce and enough oil to kill a small village. The dough ball, advertised as a desert, was a literal ball of pizza dough. We ate the pizza because we were starving - but I can still feel it in my body almost 12 hours later. Cheese cake was pretty good though.Run – do not walk – away from this establishment.

We tried the Alfredo chicken thin crust pizza, which was good. However we also wanted to try the cheese pan pizza, which looked quite dry and old, so we had to cancel that. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The interior ambiance for sure can be improved and made more lively!

One of my favorite restaurants. The food is always great. Nice place to stop by for a slice to go, or hang out for a while and have a nice meal.

I just looked up recent reviews, because I was there just over a year ago. The pizza was great, but that was all they had. It seemed like they had not recovered, at all, from pandemic. Dark, understaffed, barely open.I am really hoping they've recovered. It was, potentially, my kind of neighborhood red sauce Italian place.
