Every part of this place is several notches above what you might expect from a small storefront restaurant. Especially the kitchen, where someone clearly cares. The simply named “Fish Stew” stood out, with plantain chips to crumble into it. Everyone speaks Spanish here, but you don’t have to to feel welcomed.
Best lunch special around! Only $12 and we got a delicious bowl of soup, as well as meat, salad, and white rice.

Really nice service and authentic Ecuadorian food. Worth checking out!
Food was okay, I was looking for taste but it was bland. Food portion was big, could easily feed two people with one portion. Service was ok, wishing waitress would have explained the menu options for a first time customer. So, far I have tried many Ecuadorian restaurants in Chicago and this is not top 3. Honest opinion
