These are by far the best tamales I've had in Chicago. Their pupusas are very good too, but it is a 15 minute wait for those, so it's best to call ahead.

hold on wait a moment... I'm typing this review with one hand while I shovel the Tamales in my mouth with my other hand as quickly as humanly possible. There are tamales and there are these TAMALES.... Reed, Green, Rajas con queso or dessert tamales they are All so-so good. Their is no comparison. Every time... And I mean every time I've come here there's always a line of people waiting to order. There is no parking, no sit down dinner, no beautiful decor and none of that matters! When was the last time you waited in line for anything that isn't superb?La Bendición translates to " The Blessing"... If that's the case consider me a born again tamalero!!

There's street parking around the corner down the street. It's a small building. I think there's only one table to sit and eat. Tamales are amazing, I think they're better in the morning. Green is spicy and the red one is not spicy but yet so flavorful! Deff better than my grandmas!
These tamales are AMAZING! I love especially how the staff and owners are. They are also very friendly and I love the atmosphere with the christian music in the background. God bless you!

Wow! These tamales are the best you can find around. Loaded with chicken, and when you ask for spicy, they're. I picked up 18 and drove to my sister's house in Lincolnshire, and they stayed hot even after I ate 6, they were still hot. My sister, nephews, and niece all loved them. I brought one of my employees there to show him where the restaurant/ factory is, and I ended up getting the pupusas. I was not disappointed at all. I first tried it without the pickled cabbage and sauce, and it's good alone. Then I tried it with the cabbage and sauce, and it was awesome. What I can tell you is don't be afraid to try something new. I'll definitely be back for more.
