We came here for a nightcap before heading up to our room in the Chicago Marriott. Our bartender, George, made the perfect Old Fashioned for her and I had a very nice Hendricks and Tonic. You are going to pay a premium at this bar, but the drinks are lovely! I recommend.

Bar inside the Marriott hotel on Michigan Ave in Downtown Chicago. We had a two night stay before heading to MI for Thanksgiving. Came down to this bar to have some cocktails before dinner. Lackluster service from all three of the unenthusiastic bartenders. Drinks were just ok , nothing creative. Pictures here are Cosmopolitan and old fashioned.

PSA there is no lobster roll served here anymore as shown in menu, suggestions and photos.’. The drinks (old fashion) was strong. Great place for business meetings, after work hour drinking and a quick light appetizer like wings, burgers and salads. The food was pretty good and the service was friendly.

Trying to find dinner after working an event at Soldier Field, and heading back towards my hotel, I found a listing for Reviver that said it would be open another hour. But when I arrived, the young lady who was a waitress, told me I wouldn’t be able to order food from there. I had to walk back outside in the rain to find a place open later.

Surprisingly expensive, even for a hotel bar. The service was excellent, though.

Hours are subject to whim. Bar staff was condescending and unhelpful when I asked what was open. I flew in late and everything in the area closes early, so plan ahead. When the suggestions I pried from them didn’t pan out, I returned and they ignored me. Oddly, they were able to serve pretty women long after last call, but I went to bed hungry and thirsty.

Service could be better. Right now we are sitting on a table and since 15 minutes no waiter is showing up taking the order for a drink or food. Bad managed place in my few.
I go every New Year to this place and just love
