It's been a long time since we ate here. finally made it again after 10 years. I was so pleased with our host, and they do allow pets to dine with you ( of course at the patio ). Food is great as ever!!! We ordered lamb shanks, baba ganoush, hummus, lamb kabobs, salmon, veggie Feist and dill rice .

The food was good, a bit cold, probably because we were the last guest there and the kitchen was about to be closed. Service has been going down regularly, and I feel when the restaurant automatically charges 20% gratuity in the bill, they lack confidence in their service. Before Covid, they had well-trained servers.

The food is authentic and delicious and the staff is so welcoming! We had the vegetarian sampler which was superb and we also had the kabob and kufta....definitely A tier food along with the garlic herb bread and feta cheese dish! Price wise excellent!!

Every time I need to serve dinner to guests at my house, I order Reza’s. Their family style option is amazing with lots of choices, so it’s easy to build a menu everyone will love. The food is packed carefully and delivered with a smile. You can’t beat it.

Been there for decades. Manager Tom seems to make good on his word! Have taken many people from out of town and out of the country over the years. Many special occasions a good memories there. Hopefully we'll stay up to par! Little rough past yesterday seems like they fixed.

When I think of mediterranean food there's no other place like Rezas restaurant. The food is exquisitely fresh and tasty. It is made to order. This restaurant I went to sits in the Andersonville location, it is the first location where it opened They have other locations in Evanston, Oak Brook & downtown Chicago. Service is always amazing. They are always so attentive. I've been coming here for years and the Chicken Koubideh with Half Dill / Half White rice NEVER fails. I usually pair it feta cheese and their lavash (flat pita bread) as well as their fresh hot lentil soup. They have a dedicated parking lot which requires a ticket validation to be able to utilize the lot. You can also park along the sides of Clark St. but you will have to pay for time incremental parking. I ended my meal with their semisweet Persian doughnut which also reflects the Middle Eastern ambiance found throughout the restaurant, from sculptures and paintings that can be seen while eating. Highly recommend!

Beef koubideh. Enough said.I have driven here from far away just to pick up beef koubideh. I can eat it plain, or with bread, or with dill rice, or with plain rice. It's food from heaven. Paired with bamiyan...despite having diabetes I cannot pass it up. Sweet, honey, pastry goodness, must have been sent by God to show us a glimpse of what paradise can be like.I'm sad the options of where to get their food have dwindled. Their location in downtown Chitown was fantastic. Nevertheless, whichever Reza's I've been to, it's been awesome.A few years ago, I came here with family for an iftar. That was such a wonderful experience. Now I'm hungry again. I guess it's time for more beef koubideh!

I had my first experience at Reza back in November after returning from a trip to Sedona, AZ and what an amazing return back home. My girl swore by this place and I finally got to taste the food and it lives up to the hype. The service was super on point and quick.Great times every time we go!

We went to Reza's to celebrate my sister's birthday and it was perfect. The food is delicious, huge portions, very kind staff, and our server was wonderful. I would highly recommend, be ready to be overwhelmed by flavor and portions.

Reza's in Andersonville is pretty much the top of the list for Persian style food in Chicago. There's a small place on W Diversey that I used to like slightly more for homestyle ambiance, but it was adopted by yelp elites and lost to ruin. Reza's smokes the koubideh and kabobs. The flavours, temperatures, and textures are always pretty close to perfect - even good at the buffet. Reza's has a full bar, but I hope you try the hot tea at some point. Because it is in Andersonville, it's perfect for a walk after enjoying so much good food and service. It's also popular for business lunch and accomodates that wonderfully.

Coming from Michigan, maybe I'm spoiled by the authentic Mediterranean food we have back home. Food was flavorless, which was very disappointing. Food such as this usually gives me nostalgia but the food here made me sad. It lacked the soul Mediterranean food so often has.Our server was also very rude, including slamming our silverware down and failing to provide a drink menu.We were looking forward to a three-course meal but instead left after the appetizers.

I've been coming to Rezas for over 30 years. We have celebrated several family events at this location through the years. We love this place! My family and I recently visited Rezas, and while the food was still mostly good, the service left a lot to be desired. First issue: We never received our soups. We were sent home with to go containers instead as a consolation prize. The waitress was surprised we didn't get them. Isn't she the one that is supposed to make sure we get all of our food?! First sign of sloppy service. The restaurant was dead when we were eating. Waitress was just not paying attention. Second issue: We sent 1 entree back, it just didn't taste good (took 1 bite and literally sent it right back). We replaced the entree with the tried and true kabab plate! This was fine, the problem came when the check arrived. We noticed that they did not take off the entree that we sent back, which happened to be a few $$ more expensive. We pointed this out to the waitress and she responded in a very insulted way. She said she didn't charge us for the replacement kabob plate, and threw in a complimentary dessert to make up for it. Thanks Ms. Waitress, while I appreciate the free donuts dessert items (delicious BTW) just keep my check honest and I have zero issues paying for my own dessert. Telling my entire table you did us a favor was just so embarrassing. Then things got a little bit argumentative as I was trying to understand why they didn't just add on the replacement plate that we ordered and removed the one we sent back. It was embarrassing to have ti go through this in front of my family. Third Issue: The waitress asked if I could pay the bill in cash in front of my entire party. Embarrassing to ask and also makes the restaurant looks so cheap. This is not the Rezas I remember. Food is still mostly there though (my chicken koobideh had ZERO flavor though). Service was bad. Happy this location is open again. We will return, but will ask for a different server if we get the same one.
