Pasta was perfect! Great amount of food as well. Drinks we had were also great and nice sizes. Excited to come back and try more from the menu.
Food was delicious! Staff were so kind! Definitely suggest for anyone looking for great Italian food.
The first time we went we enjoyed the experience. We liked cocktails and the waiter helped us a lot
Gran atención del equipo, la pasta es muy buena, el resto de los platillos que probamos fueron buenos/ regulares.
Had a truly terrible service. Everything from service to wine to food. There were 3 of us and they squeezed us at a 2 top in a corner. When we asked for a bigger table because we were going to be eating a lot and it was barely enough room for 2 let alone 3, the guy laughed and said no problem- we will course out your food. (They did not. The entire time we were struggling not to spill and switch out and combine plates). We then got 2 samples of wine, 1 was completely spoiled. We ordered the Amish chicken Milanese along with 2 pastas. Instead of putting in the chicken, they added grilled chicken to our pesto gnocchi. We then brought it up and re ordered the Amish chicken Milanese, even pointing to it on the menu. They proceed to bring out a grilled chicken breast with spinach on the side. When we brought it up again, they said that's what we ordered. I proceeded to pull out the menu and ask where a grilled chicken breast and spinach was on the menu (it did not exist). Then they said they thought we ordered an old menu item (???). Both times when we talked to the manger on duty, he didn't even speak. He nodded and would walk away. He never came back to check on us or even tell us , yes ok we put in the new/ correct food item. We had to flag him down every time. When we got the bill , the chicken was on the bill! (Not to mention an add on of chicken to a pasta is $28!) When we told him we weren't paying for that, he rolled his eyes. I said, it took you 3x to get our food right, why would we pay for this? They finally took it off the bill, we tipped the server 20% (even though it was not deserved) We said thank you and asked what the managers name was. The server paused for literally 10 seconds and then said Manuel. We had a weird feeling he was lying so when we left, we asked the host. She said the managers name on duty was Mauricio. Completely insane. I will NEVER come back. There was not 1 thing that was good about this place.
Delicious gnocchi—very large portion! Fava beans with truffle were a nice treat. Seafood platter and linguine with clams—excellent.
It was very busy so I could see that our server was a bit overwhelmed. But all orders were taken correctly and food was served in a timely fashion and of appropriate temperature. I would consider that a compliment for our server. The table was very small for our group and more table space would have been appreciated.
Charming, local spot with excellent food and service. It has a very well chosen wine list, with many unusual and excellent Italian wines by both the glass and the bottle. Warm and friendly staff!
This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The food was excellent, calamari was probably the best I have ever had, with a light crisp outer surface covering the perfectly cooked squid. Entree's were wonderful with most of the table getting pasta that was cooked al dente and wonderfully prepared. Service was excellent, with an effort to make sure we were completely satisfied. You must give this place a try, I would certainly go back.
Nice evening, the food was good, especially the pear pie. Our waitress was pleasant and made sure everything was fine in a discreet way, which we appreciated.

Best Fried Squash Blossoms Ever! We had the Squash Blossoms, Pumpkin Ravioli w Sage Butter sauce and Trout w lemon, capers and Artichokes. For Dessert we had the Ear tart w Vanilla Gelato. Cute restaurant with plenty of seating. Great Italian music in the background. Excellent service. Thank you Danelle!
This was our 4th or 5th time dining at Ricardo Osteria. It's always been a wonderful experience, that is before this time. This time the veal meatballs tasted like they were made with Italian sausage not veal and riccota and the pastas were what you would expect from a decent Italian restaurant not a great one. In the past they were always top level. Even the Pear Tart was not what we remembered. Won't be going back for some time.
As someone who has dined across the globe and experienced everything from 3-star Michelin temples to humble street food gems, Riccardo's has long held a soft spot in my heart. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me disappointed in a way I didn't expect. From the start, it was clear our server was new. He was visibly nervous, unfamiliar with the menu, and fumbled through the basics. And while I've got nothing but empathy for someone learning the ropes (he was kind, courteous, and trying his best), what was truly disheartening was how little support he received. When he sought guidance, the manager—who should have led with poise and patience—was shockingly dismissive and rude. Watching a team member get belittled in front of guests is not only unprofessional, it's simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, I requested a big ice cube in my cocktail—a simple touch that elevates a drink and keeps it from diluting too quickly. The server, trying to accommodate, assured me they had them. Turns out, they didn't. The drink sat, watered down and forgotten. When I politely asked for a new one, the manager's response was abrasive enough to make me lose my appetite entirely. I've dined at Riccardo's many times over the years, always appreciating the ambiance, the cuisine, and the consistency. But hospitality is the soul of any great restaurant, and what I witnessed from the management that night completely broke that trust. It's rare that one person can make me reconsider a place I've returned to time and again—but in this case, it might make me reconsider.
Simply the best. Feels like home. My family goes to Riccardo's almost every Saturday night for family dinner. The food is super consistent, reasonably priced and excellent very welcoming service. Also, their fresh product is high quality (whether from tomatoes to cheeses to greens to asparagus). It's such a cozy spot. Plus their Italian wine selection is great. Good spectrum of choices and affordable. Highly highly recommended!!
The Cabonara here was superb and the service was excellent 👏
