as someone who loves thai food, i go to rice & noodles at least once a week. i work a couple blocks away so it is super convenient for me to stop by here for their lunch specials. my food is always ready on time and the staff is super friendly.

The fried tofu tasted like leather, the fried meat in the Three Delight was soggy and doughy, and the Poh Taak soup was just okay.

I come here weekly, mainly for take outs. They are my go-to & they are so friendly & welcoming. There are decent seatings (indoors & outdoors). Their lunch specials are amazing - decent servings for the discount! Highly recommend to come check them out. Absolutely obsessed with the sakata sweet melon in their green curry

I had a wonderful meal delivered from here after I walked by earlier in the day. Big shoutout to the Pad See Ew, which came in a large portion! The broccoli was well cooked, and the tofu was cut small and cooked so it wasn’t soggy. Although in just passing through town, I’d definitely eat here again sometime!

I crave their Panang Noodles with the crispy wide rice noodles. Perfectly balanced savory curry with slight heat and bright basil. The chewy and crunchy wide rice noodles soaking up all that umami filled curry with chicken - wonderfully delicious! Owner is welcoming and kind.

Sadly, the dish was way too sweet. The ingredients looked promising but this is not normal for thai food being that sweet (corn syrup?). Never had anything like it before. Maybe they americanized it too much but, no, this is not right and we couldn't even finish it. Also, the people working there are not even close to being thai ?. Why not open a mexican food restaurant? ? The location looked like a train station waiting hall.

I really like the chicken wings lunch special. The fried banana is awesome. The crab Rangoon are some of the best I’ve ever had. I love having the option to pick an appetizer with a lunch special.

I did once order the bbq pork over rice and it was so horrific I could not eat it after one bite. But I order the chicken wings lunch special now at least once a week :3

I do not recommend the thai custard, at least for delivery…. It maybe doesn’t travel well…

I will keep coming back to explore the menu further and for the amazing deals! Among the best priced lunches in Chicago :p
