Rice N Bread is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Jacop is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing Galbi burger. Must come back. 10/10. I liked the pictures on the walls.

I got there right when they opened so I could place a quick breakfast order to go. I ordered the teriyaki 2 egg breakfast with rice and gravy and toast. I stood around waiting for my order while others who had gotten there after me were getting served.
After 25 minutes, I asked the server if my food was almost ready. She said it would be another 5 minutes. I finally got my food after waiting for 30 minutes. I couldn’t believe how flippant they were about the long wait and I couldn’t wait to get out of there and actually start my day.
The teriyaki beef was good, but the rest of the meal was average. For a $22 breakfast, I expect the food to align with the service. I really wanted to enjoy this place after reading all the reviews, but unfortunately I won’t be back.

I went to Rice and Bread at 3435 N Sheffield Ave to pick up an Uber Eats order, and unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. The front desk staff, particularly the man with glasses, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Rather than being helpful or courteous, he made the process feel uncomfortable and unnecessarily tense.
As someone simply doing a food pickup, I didn’t expect warm hospitality—but basic respect and clear communication should be standard. I hope the management addresses this kind of behavior, as it reflects poorly on the restaurant as a whole.
Can’t speak for the food this time, but if the service at the door is any indication, I’d hesitate to return or recommend it to others

This is one of my mother's favorites, so we take her here when she's in town. The food is great. A simple marriage of Asian and breakfast food without the culinary bells and whistles of fusion that often lead to bloated prices and underwhelming execution. More than fair prices, especially for Korean dishes, good solid breakfast food, and a convenient location; this place is all I could ask for!
