Fantastic in every way. Excellent quality, amazing flavors. Good sandwich selection as well. Try the savory greens and cornbread for something unique, or banana pudding for a truly sweet treat.

This might be the best ice cream in the Chi. Black owned, great customer service, great options. Got a pint of Banana pudding ice cream and had to run it back 3 days later. Will definitely continue to support.
OMG… so worth the drive! This was an out of the world experience! The ice creams were creamy, favorable and amazing! The salted caramel was the essence of goodness. Then there was the sweet potato and pumpkin spice pie with bits of pie crust. Also , peach vodka, vanilla fudge brownie with abundant brownie pieces, the butter pecan with half pecans… and the indulgences were endless!
Leonard was gracious and indulges my child like behaviors… “kid in an ice cream shop”!
I will return … it’s worth drive!

Definitely a place worth the drive!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Love how he offered right away taste test before purchasing. Sample tasted banana pudding ice cream it was PHENOMENAL! Sweet potato pie AMAZING! Strawberry cheesecake, pineapple vodka GREAT!! My husband, my daughter, and I finished the banana pudding ice cream before we got home... it was amazing!!!

Is this the best ice cream in Chicago? Maybe! The Sweet Potato Pie and Banana Pudding ice creams are incredibly good, totally justifying the "Super Premium" part of the name. You should know that it's an expensive pint of ice cream, but trust me--one taste and you'll regret nothing.

it’s very likely this is among the best ice cream you can get that originates in Chicagoland. Multiple flavors that you’ve never gotten before such as sweet potato pie or fudge cheesecake. Plus many of your usual favorites like chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreo, and butter pecan. Richard's crafts flavors that can be both powerful and subtle. Layers of flavor: some of them you taste in the beginning, and then others will occur during the finish, like a fine wine. Some of the choices are inspired by African-American cuisine, and these are welcome. They have an excellent apple pecan, a great mango that is more muted than the typical sorbet, but still good flavor of the fruit. Their pineapple vodka ice cream is also especially noteworthy, not merely because of the alcohol content. At the suggestion of the manager, pairing it with their lemon icebox cake ice cream was a great combination. I believe the best two flavors I tried were their sweet potato pie and their banana pudding ice cream, the latter being their bestseller. Those are so special—worth coming here just for those two.
This is not really an ice cream parlor in the sense that there are no tables and chairs with little napkins and table service. It’s more of a takeout and delivery location, but it IS set up to walk in and order yourself, either by the scoop (or sundae) or by the pint. They also serve sandwiches, including burgers and fries and hot dogs and gyros. But there’s nowhere for you to eat it; it's takeout (or, I believe Door Dash).
Staff and management are friendly and willing to discuss each flavor. Definitely worth our drive from the north side. It’s conveniently located right off the highway exit (Bishop Ford Freeway). Well lit free parking. Definitely recommend it.
