I am not a fan of fried chicken, just never have been, HOWEVER, RICKETTE's CHANGED MY MIND! We got the big tray of fried chicken and fries and it was soooo DELICIOUS. The chicken was so crunchy and tasty, NOT overly or under seasoned, NOT greasy, SO juicy on the inside. The fries were great and a ton of them. Fed a family of 4 for 2 days and still had left overs! We also got the greens and mac and cheese too! Super yummy! Excited to have a good chicken spot in our neighborhood!

I got some turkey tips with fries and some cheese sticks from there. The turkey tips were really overcooked and tasted really really stale. It tasted as if the turkey was cooked in the morning and just heat it up a little bit while serving me. The fries were underneath the turkey and super soggy and you couldn’t even tell there were fries there. And lastly, the cheese stick tasted waxy. It tasted as if I was eating something with wax on it. And the person there was OK with the service. He was not really talkative when I asked for a suggestions. He blatantly just said depends on what you wanna eat, and this is what we have. I had asked for suggestions and he didn’t really have any. Overall, I just had a really bad experience with this place and I would definitely suggest that They should try a little better. And for anyone who would say that it could be because I took takeout and etc. etc. I live two minutes away from this place and hadn’t even even realized this place was there until I looked on Google and decided to try it.

The chicken wings were EXTREMELY salty and cold. The tips from the 3 wings & Pork Tip Combo were tough and cold as well, as if it had been reheated from the refrigerator. Last but not least, the pork tips had absolutely no smoke flavor whatsoever. They were definitely not smoked or grilled. I haven’t ordered from here in quite some time but I guarantee that this is my VERY last time ordering from Rickett's.

I came on a Saturday.Awful service. The young lady who served me knew the man I was with . I guess she got upset . When I received my ten pieces of chicken the whole bottle of sauce was poured on my order. This was unprofessional, disgusting. And my money!. I should had reported this place. You never know what people do to your food.
Tonight i ordered delivery via doordash. This is my second time ordering the first time the order was okay. This time they packaged my rolls poorly soon as i opened the bag the rolls fell out on to the floor they could have packaged them better and more secure. Im pissed because i had my mouth set for those rolls! So be mindful if you order delivery your order may just be packaged poorly!

If you have access to this, you do not go to Popeyes or KFC. This is the best fried chicken in the area. I also love their rib tips, excellent sauce. The owner is there often and he is a very nice guy, who would love to chat with you. It is a very straightforward menu. Best for pick up. You definitely want to visit this restaurant.
