There used to be many quality independent Italian restaurants to choose from, now it is so much more difficult. Luckily Agostinos survives.This place is the real deal, a little old school, but in a really good way. Great traditional Italian dishes, friendly professional service, reasonably priced for the high quality. We had a couple of the specials and they were excellent. The quality of the food is high, though it's not quite as good as before the remodel. The prices have gone up quite a bit, the portions seem smaller, and you no longer get the fruit plate after you finish your meal. And the credit card fee sucked and was imposed without warning. I'll be back, but not nearly as often.
Octopus appetizer was perfect. Chicken limone was chicken. It really needed to have a pasta or similar. I did get a pasta to go with it (extra cost) and the server suggested half order which was perfect. Otherwise it would have just been a slab of chicken (tasty) on a
