I can’t begin to explain what a godsend Ritual Coffeehouse was in my time of need! I was driving through Chicago on a road trip, desperately in need of a good coffee at 9 pm, at a time where every other shop is already closed down. Then, I see them on the maps, hoping for the best, and happy to say it far exceeded my expectations!! I had the most beautiful latte, made by the lovely barista (working late on a Tuesday night but still super pleasant, kind and welcoming), and on top of all that, the coffee served was ONYX coffee!
As a huge coffee fanatic, I was blown away that they carried one of the best coffee brands in the world (owned by world barista champion 3+ times). It was so comforting at this hour and being in a new city, but also the quality was impeccable! Thank you for being open and for the warm welcome to Chicago ☺️

The pastry here is divine, it hits way above the level of a local coffee shop. Cardamom buns, goat cheese lemon scones…many of their confections would compete with bakeries that have lines of tourists outside. Also the staff are all charmers.

I really love coming to this place. It’s no-frills and you may miss it if you’re not paying attention. But it’s the most delicious iced coffee I’ve had in the city. Everyone I’ve interacted with, always been so kind. It’s such a treat when I can go there. I’ve never had their food, but my friend loved the pastry she got.

One of the BEST coffee shops in the city. The COFFEE, PASTRIES & STAFF 11/10. Everyone is so kind and attentive and never mind having to repeat what pastries are in the case for the day. The coffee is fantastic; I drink a simple black cold brew. The pastries are from some otherworldly or ethereal being that sprinkles happiness and all the goodness existence has to offer into them. Savory or sweet. Never misses. (I think they make them in house because they’re always fresh and warm) You all are amazing. 🫶🏻EVERYONE GO HERE

Tiny but mighty!!! Been coming here for over 5 years either to sit down and work, chat with a friend or grab a quick sweet treat + coffee. Always delicious and consistent :) Every barista across the visits has always been so kind and friendly! The owner works behind the counter as well which is refreshing to see that dynamic. A great vibe and is a good space for literally any type of activity you want to do at a coffeeshop. <3 Will always come back here!

Cozy coffee shop with a very nice backyard patio. Sitting here in the late afternoon sun and enjoying their reasonably priced latte was a pleasant experience. The overall vibe of the place was very relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely a spot to come back to!
