Great wait staff and maybe the best chicken breast I’ve had in a long time.
This place has great service and food. It was one of the first restaurants I visited when I came to Chicago and quickly became my go-to takeout spot. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are all excellent. I’m giving it 3 stars because I am disappointed to find out they no longer serve the Pesto Fettuccine, it was literally one of the best dishes on the menu. Please bring it back!
The food was only ok and not a great atmosphere
Happy hour burger in the city for $8 !! Can’t beat that and it’s a good burger.
A bit noisy when you sit outside on State St (as expected).
Service is great, wait staff and bartender are very friendly.
Gabino was excellent, Great service, salad was pussy and delicious! One of my favorite stops to make in Chicago :)
Gabino was the best server! So kind and welcoming we had such an amazing time!
Gabino was hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had in my life. So attentive and kind! Me and my friends have had him before so it was nice getting him again today, but the staff is such a huge factor in us coming back- beautiful restaurant and food, and even better staff. I recommend so very much!!!
I went to River North Bistro for Sunday brunch on my birthday, and it was such a great experience! The food was delicious and plentiful — the steak was cooked to absolute perfection. They even surprised me with a little birthday cake, which made the day even more special. The mimosas were strong (in the best way), and our waiter kept a close eye on us without hovering, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was beautiful — calm and relaxing early on around 10 AM, and then it picked up and got lively closer to noon. I would definitely recommend River North Bistro and can’t wait to go back again!
We were there for Sunday brunch. Drinks were just okay, not great. They didn’t have milk for the kids (what?), no decaf coffee and the food was mediocre. I got the impression they were just getting by. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Great experience! The food was amazing and the waitstaff was very nice. The tomato soup was by FAR the best tomato soup I’ve ever had.

ASK FOR EDDIE! Amazing brunch, mimosa special AND food!
Great food, fast and friendly service. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
We grabbed a quick bite to eat here. Food is pretty good, friendly service and the atmosphere was really quiet
The staff was rude! Didn't sit us and told us to sit in back near the door, so it cold. He ignored us! So we left, and didn't get to try the food.
Food and service was great! Had the Lake Benedict, Ham and Swiss omelet, and French Toast.
