The atmosphere seemed very clean and was very nice inside. Although, our server only came over to us to order and then give us our check. We never got refills on any of our drinks and there was only 2 other people in the restaurant. We got one app (wings) and 2 meals and the total came out to be $90. The fettuccine noodles tasted hard like they were not fully cooked.

Good food, good vibes, good people. We visited during our time in Chicago and had brunch there. Wasn’t crowded at all. Service was quick and the food was good. Would visit whenever we come back.

So happy we ate here today for our Christmas brunch! Quick service, helpful if you have a toddler. They had crayons and a cute city pic to color. All our dishes were excellent. I got the croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes- potatoes were very very good!! My son got the pancake, I was expecting something small but it was a generous portion. My MIL had some granola/yogurt. All very very good, very nice staff, beautiful space.

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is awesome! There was no wait, and we got our food and drinks in a timely manor. My boyfriend and I have come here for happy hour twice. The fries are hand cut and fresh, and the burger is so big and juicy we ordered one and split it! The drinks are also so delicious!! I highly highly recommend coming here! Definitely come during happy hour for that amazing happy hour menu!

Went here twice so far. Atmosphere is nice and food is good but, the first time they sat me down, place was empty it took over 25 mins for the waiter to get my order. Second time I got breakfast, they sat us down. We ordered and are but when it came to paying that took another 30-40 mins for someone to come back and check on us.

The food was great, nothing too fancy but true American food. The prices were very correct for the location.
Very quiet and modern atmosphere.
We'd appreciate a more elaborated dessert menu.

The food was just okay and the atmosphere was fine. We ordered the goat cheese and wild mushroom toast(s). The goat cheese toast came with a premade avocado spread, which wasn’t great, especially for the price. My husband also found an eyelash in his food, though they did remake it. The bill ended up around $40–$50, and honestly, I wouldn’t go back.

I had dinner at River North Bistro and overall had a really great experience. I ordered the steak, and it was cooked exactly the way I wanted. The flavor was rich and satisfying without being overwhelming, and the portion size felt just right. The rest of my group ordered burgers and chicken, and everyone seemed really happy with their meals. The presentation wasn’t anything dramatic, but it was clean, simple, and definitely appetizing, which fits the vibe of the place.
The service was honestly one of the highlights. Our server checked in with us a couple of times throughout the meal, enough to make sure we had everything we needed but never in a way that felt rushed or intrusive. They kept a good balance of being attentive while still letting us enjoy our evening.
The atmosphere here is beautiful—soft lighting, warm wood tones, and that classic cozy bistro style that makes the whole place feel inviting. It’s also very clean, which I always appreciate. It felt like somewhere you could go for a casual dinner or a slightly nicer night out.
I’d definitely recommend River North Bistro, especially if you’re looking for good food in a relaxing setting. Just note that it’s on the slightly pricier side at around $45 per person, but I think it was worth it.

I went to River north Bistro yesterday since it’s next to my hotel. The group of young people working there, they were actually the servers made me laugh a lot because they kept saying cara de pinga. The food was decent, the service was so-so, could definitely improve, but overall I felt very comfortable. I’d still recommend it, since the servers keep the place full of laughter and good vibes the whole time.

We stopped here for the first time for brunch and had a nice time! We came 2:00 on a Saturday and it was a good time. Not very busy. The food was fresh and tasty. A bit on the pricey side to me, but the restaurant was nice and the service was great.

ordered thru Eurostar room service 2x chocolate cake, fries, and a charcuterie board. Laughableeeeeeeeeeee. Cake was dry and flavorless. Unfortunately that was the best thing we received. Fries had been clearly sitting under a heat lamp or in a hotel pan for hours. They were inedible and hard as rocks. We did not receive any silverware either so we had to resort to the savagery of using for mentioned French fries as utensils to eat the chocolate cake. Charcuterie board was two small boxes of crostini and a pitiful pile of salami. Wtfff $60 you're crazy for that
