Always have such a lovely time when we come here! It's always after work when we're tired and kinda grubby looking, but the staff is always so kind and accommodating. We've come to know Heather over the last 2 years and now it's like we're old time buds! Always so kind. Def my kind of true Chicago bar! 🍻☺️
River Shannon is a Chicago favorite that I visit anytime I’m in town. Staff is always friendly and go above and beyond in their service. My husband and I went to River Shannon right after we got engaged to celebrate - they made the pub feel like an engagement party full of close friends, even though we didn’t know anyone there. And you can’t beat their pints of Guinness. Being dog friendly is a huge plus!
We are a crotchety lesbian couple in our mid 30s who likes a nice beer and a welcoming environment where we can bring our dog without the overwhelming presence of the Old Town elite. River Shannon has given us that place.
