Rockwell's Neighborhood Grill

This place lives up to its name - it is a true neighborhood grill. I come here about once a week and all the workers are friendly and welcome me in every time. Timmy is especially awesome! The food is good, and they specialize in burgers. In fact they have a different burger special every week. Stop by if you’re ever in the neighborhood!

Great food, great beer list. Always get the Louisiana egg rolls. Great casual neighborhood atmosphere. I go whenever I am in the area. Located just steps away from the L.

I went here with my boyfriend on Saturday when they opened. The atmosphere was calm and chill. The servers were so cordial and professional. The mozzarella sticks are to DIE for! They are the best we’ve ever had. Their burgers are amazing!! They were so good we plan to come back this Friday! Totally recommend!

Gluten free avocado melt chicken sammich thing is so good. I like the buffalo one too!!

I usually get sick even sometimes when in dedicated gluten free restaurants bc I have other food allergies etc but don't rly have issues after eating at this place. However, I do make sure I explain my issues to the server & they take things seriously (they are super nice about it too).

I will eat one half of it per serving, though.
Good portion sizes 👍 plus is in a very cute (historic) Chicago neighborhood. Nice outdoor seating in the warmer months.

Dietary restrictions: They will make it gluten free for you and are super sweet about it. They also list it on the menu. Servers also help out w/ communication on if other items are not good need substitutions or if there more items that are gluten free but not listed on menu yet etc.
