Not a clean place. Food took over an hour. I placed order through uber. I got there at whatever time they said it would be ready. Still waited an hour. Food not tasty. Lady at counter has bad attitude.

This place is a dump. It's called rococo but they don't even have rocoto sauce. The anticuchos beef heart was good but my lomo saltado was beyond horrible. I've been to lima peru over 30 times and I know what true lomo saltado taste like. I told the waitress we want extra juice in my lomo. There was none. It was very dry. If you want real peruvian food look elsewhere. You will be very disappointed as I was leaving this hole in the wall restaurant. The restaurant it self is nasty and smells in there. I've been to some ran down peruvian restaurants with bomb peruvian food. This place sucks and doesn't deserve any star ratings. This is a honest true review from someone that knows peruvian food. Sorry to say but you couldn't pay me to go back to eat here.

Food was decent, but the service was extremely disappointing. I waited 50 minutes for my meal as a solo dine-in guest, which is unreasonable given the circumstances. During that time, I witnessed the only waitress sitting with the owner and a customer, drinking wine instead of tending to guests. Another man waited 10 minutes to place an order and was completely ignored, while a different customer came in twice to check on his to-go order.

This is a very small restaurant with only three occupied tables, including mine. I understand there may have only been one cook, but basic courtesy such as a check-in, a simple acknowledgment of the wait, or even an update would have made the experience far better. Instead, guests were left unattended for long stretches of time, which made the experience feel unprofessional and frustrating.

Food takes too long to prepare, they are definitely understaffed. There is literally one one guy in the back making the food:

Really bad service. Food is decent. They have one waitress for the whole restaurant, and the truth is that she’s not good at multitasking or providing good customer service. We would bing her attention to us because she never came around to ask if we were good, we asked her for something super simple and never gave us what we needed we were a small party of 3 and couldn’t check on us the whole time we were there. Decided to take a go to box to be able to eat it with the Parmesan cheese that I never got. Owner does not care about customers he constantly would yell at her in front of the customers screaming at her across the whole restaurant. Definitely not a good look for the guy or the business.

I wouldn't know how their food taste because we never got a chance to order.
We came in and sat there for almost 20 minutes and the waitress/waiter just kept on walking right by us and completely ignored us! Horrible place and a unpleasant service!

The food is awesome but the family or staff there is pretty awful. Their service is pretty crappy they are super rude. We ordered on their app one time and went to get the food and they never got the order. They said better to call it in. Fine I get it small place want to go the old fashioned way.

Our next order, we called it in. Get there to pick up after they said it would be 20-25 mins. First of all the lady is just sitting there eating in the middle of the aisle and don’t even greet the customer or take care of you. Wife finally asked about our order and the lady I guess remembered her and she said something like, “we don’t have you order you didn’t learn your lesson from last time?”. Are you serious lady we called and some fella took the order over the phone. And your incompetent business never put the order in. TWICE!! Wife waited another 20 mins and the dude comes out and asks “what was your order again?” Okay now wait another twenty mins for the food to cook for. That point.

The food is great. I’ll change my review if y’all get your heads out your butt cracks, because right now y’all’s face just stank with awful service. The cooks are doing a great job though!

The worse service!
I have to wait 10 min to be notice, the owner was eating right in front not even great properly, the Dauther was the waiter but never took a min to welcome or assist you.
So disappointed, not recommend at all.

Amazing food. They just need to work more on services, it's super busy for a reason ,the food is Amazing ,lots of order from mobile apps delay the services, but other than that is worth the wait.

Came in on Saturday with my fiancĂ©e, and upon walking in we felt the warm and inviting atmosphere. No frills ambiance, but the napkin rolled silverware, chicha music playing, soccer game, and the two gentlemen who were sitting at the table gave all the signals of an authentic Peruvian restaurant. I ordered the ajĂ de gallina and my partner the lomo saltado. The cheese sauce on the ajĂ de gallina was perfectly made, well balanced and classically garnished with half a boiled egg and Peruvian olives. Yum! The meat for the lomo saltado was juicy and tender, and the dish was well balanced. Both servings were generous. Another thing that impressed me was how the chicha morada— a classic purple corn drink made with pineapple skins— was made from scratch. None of this packaged powder stuff you might get at other places. Friendly service, food is made to order, so give yourself time. If you’re looking to dine how Peruvians do, you must try this place. We live close by and are excited to add it to our rotation of places to dine at in the neighborhood.
