Rootstock is perfect in every way. As said to a friend this morning, prompting this long overdue review: If you can't make a new friend or bed a lover here, it wasn't meant to be.
We had to return a couple dishes, one had too much salt and the fish entree was over cooked. Things happen in the kitchen but no one acknowledged or apologized for these errors. The server didn’t even ask if we wanted to try another entree. She just dropped the check. They did comp the 2 dishes, though. Hopefully it’s a one-off situation because we live in the area.
Obsessed with this place. Such a large selection of wines to choose from and delicious food. Super small inside and gets crowded fast so I would recommend getting there right when they open.
