Chicken tamales were flavorful but wish the chicken was softer and maybe more green sauce. Service was prompt and tamales were nice and warm.

Dozen Tamales which were fire I might add.
The Building was cozy and beautiful and very traditional.
Fast paced and very efficient service.
Very fair and reasonable price.
I was really nervous about getting tamales from here because of the bad reviews but mine were perfect. I picked some tamales up on a Saturday at 1pm.
I love the 🫔 they are the best tamales. The champurrado is delicious and they are always kind 🤗❤️.

Restaurantji Recommends
My husband bought a few dozen last week. Not good at all. Small, dry and lacked flavor. Even the meat filled ones were dry. I do not recommend this place for tamales. Only thing that was good was the champurrado.
Love the banana leaf tamales here. Delicious!!!

Horrifying Experience at Rosa's Tamales #4
I wish I could give Rosa's Tamales #4 zero stars. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We ordered four dozen tamales for a birthday celebration at an elementary school, hoping to enjoy a lovely meal. Instead, we were greeted with revolting food sanitation and appalling customer service.
To our horror, a teacher found a roach in her tamale, which made her sick. This was not only disgusting but also incredibly embarrassing, as it ruined the entire event. Given the circumstances, we expected the restaurant to take responsibility and offer a full refund or a satisfactory solution. Instead, they refused to acknowledge the severity of the issue and only offered a refund for one tamale, despite our spending $75 on the entire order.
Their lack of accountability and concern for their customers' well-being is shocking. I strongly urge everyone to avoid Rosa's Tamales #4 at 4619 S. Kedzie. Save yourself the trouble, and find a place that values cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

The tamales are delicious, the atoles too sweet, good service from the workers. The atmosphere is gloomy and with little light. THE TAMALES ARE TASTY BUT VERY SMALL AND EXPENSIVE.

They raised the prices for tamales but made them a lot smaller. Soon they’ll just sell us the leaf. This is a joke theyre just as big as my finger
