Hole in the wall Mexican diner that cooks up some really delicious breakfast. Eggs and chorizo with tortillas rice and beans. Both roja and verde sauces (spicier) were fire.

What a great little hidden gem!!! Very small intimate place with a counter over looking the kitchen. The food was so quality and so home cooked!!! I will definitely be coming back to try more soon!!!

Had a 6-hour layover passing through O’Hare starting early in the morning and found this place only about 20-25min. away on the blue line train.
Perfect example of an excellent “hole in the wall” spot. If breakfast, try their chilaquiles with either egg or meat.
Any time of day, I’d recommend their steak or lechon tacos.
Excellent hot sauces all made in-house like the rest of their menu.
This place is packed in the early morning as workers chow down before starting a long day.
Definitely recommend if you’re anywhere near Chicago’s N/NW side at any point.
Oh my goodness the chorizo egg sandwich was so good! It was the perfect pick me up for breakfast and paired with their coffee I knew I was going to have a good day. People making the food are kind too and receptive if you need sauce or something else! I’ll be back for more!!

I was just in this restaurant saw the lady making tacos without a hair net and handling food without gloves, I asked her nicely about it and pretty much got thrown out of the restaurant by another older lady, then she complained about wasting the meat for the taco I had ordered. They were very rude and filthy. I will make sure I report this restaurant today to the state.
