Rosati's Pizza - Chicago Loop

Customer service fail, skimpy ingredients, did not get extra paid for...

Chicago native visiting Chicago.
Have memories of delicious Rosati's thin crust, but was in the mood for deep dish. Rosati's was close walk to hotel, so thought we'd give their deep dish a try. Ordered online paying for onion, green pepper and extra sausage. Walked over choosing to eat inside. Arrived 5 minutes earlier than scheduled time and pizza was already ready. Restaurant was clean with paper plates available. Scooped pizza on plate. Temp was just warm with cheese barely melty; definitely not hot. Lots of cheese and sauce, but little other ingredients. So disappointed to have hardly any sausage after paying for extra. Stood in line and asked young lady working if she was sure our pizza had extra sausage sharing it is very skimpy. She stated that we should have two layers of sausage and then ignored me, moving onto next customer. It was obvious she didn't care and wouldn't do anything to make it right. Next time, l'll go the extra distance to UNO's, Giordanos or Lou's for a dependable delicious deep dish.
Lack of customer service when things go wrong will not bring me back to Rosati's ever again. Too many better, more reliable options out there.

Atmosphere is pretty lowkey and average but the real.winner is the ZA!!!! This is one of my fav pizzerias on the north side! Esp their thin crust. Hit any of the Rosatis if u want true Chicago pizza, a 25 yr Chi resident ❤️
