The restaurant is overrated. Very poor service. Erin M, our waitress didn’t go over the menu, took our order and disappeared for the rest of the night. She didn’t refill our wine or water glasses once. After we complained, she finally began to refill our waters yet she still ignored us. Towards the end, Erin rushed us out. The food was good but if you want an all round good dining experience for what your paying for Rose Merry is not the place for you.
Also, this is the 3rd time I’ve dined here. Each time I’ve had an awful experience with the service.

The food was incredible—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was super friendly. Highly recommend for a great night out!
WOW WOW WOW! Fantastic, phenomenal, spectacular. All of the adjectives and more. First off, huge shout out to our waiter Johnny. He made the night so great. He took the time to get to know us, offered great suggestions off the menu, and even gave us a card of all his recommendations for the city. Another quick shout to the food runners - such quick, efficient, and fantastic service. On to the food. again, WOW. The pork ribs were the crowd favorite. Best ribs i’ve ever had. Fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, fantastic. The agrodolce sauce with the yogurt relish combination was so unexpected made the dish warm and comforting but still felt light and refreshing. Second best dish was the tuna crudo. Flavors from the capers, vinaigrette, and aioli were wonderful. Third best dish was the zucchini fritters. Just get them. You will not regret a single bite. The rigatoni was my least favorite, but others favorite, so i’m chalking to up to personal preference. It was so so delicious - I just think not as good as everything else we tried. My only note - the noodles are paccheri (not rigatoni), so you know the joint is great when the only comment I have is a mislabeled pasta shape! Can’t recommend more…. and I wish they would open another croatian/italian location in Minnesota!

The food was good, nothing was especially note worthy. Maybe it was a bit over hyped by the locals. The highly anticipated zucchini fritters would be a pass for us. They were a bit oil ladden, as if the oil was not hot enough when fried.
The clams would be a repeat.
There were lots of bussers and a fair amount of severs, yet it was tough to order more drinks.

Very consistent with their quality. Have been a few times and order some of the same dishes and trying new seasonal ones and it is always delicious. Highly recommend the Lamb Rack for meats and the Brussel Sprouts for veggies. The white truffle pasta was extremely flavorful and the gnocchi is delightful as well. It's great to go with a group to try several options to be shared amongst the table.

Really I’m not impressed. The food was salty, pasta was overcooked and the server was too busy and seems like she forgot about our table. I had to ask some random person who was picking up our dishes to order a glass of wine. Then this server lady came back acting like she’s offended by me talking to someone else to place my order. I understand she can be busy but to not show up for over 30 minutes, honestly nothing else can ruin your mood if serving person is not there when you need them.

Overall it was worth the trip— the interior was pleasant, cozy, and buzzing but not so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. I enjoyed the open kitchen and the cook on the shrimp and tagliatelle were perfect. The Delicata squash was a little
Under what I would have liked but it had a nice layering of flavors and good presentation. The Tagliatelle was the best: rich but not heavy, perfect cook for the pasta, and generous amount of white truffle. One thing I will say about the shrimp— perfect cook, wonderful char, and the crispy garlic was delicious. I would recommend going at least once.

Amazing blend of unique flavors. Tuna Crudo, Zucchini, Cacio e Pepe, and Risotto were some of the best dishes I have had in Chicago. Save room for dessert as the Toffee Zelten was 👌👌

Visited with a vendor of ours while traveling to Chicago. While the menu was a bit confusing by the names of the dishes. The food was excellent and the service was great. If in Chicago stop in and see for yourself

The food was nice. However, service was slow, our reservation was not on time, and the hostesses were incredibly rude and disrespectful. Our reservation was late, and they made us wait outside with freezing temperature. It's a shame that what could have been a great dining experience gets tarnished by such a terrible treatment.

I had the delicata squash, which was quite complex with walnut butter, chili oil, shaved pecorino and tarragon leaves. The beef cheek gnocchi was a deep, savory sauce with incredibly soft gnocchi. Both dishes are good, but the pasta seems to be the star here. The group next to me got what I think was Tortellini Djuvec, and it looked so delicious as well.
Two dishes was a little much for me alone, so I couldn't finish both. I'd maybe split 2-3 dishes for 2 people. Probably should get a reservation, though I managed a bar seat by getting there earlier and being patient.
