The restaurant was closed. I made a reservation 90 days in advance for marathon weekend, and come to find out that it was closed. Called the number and no one there knew I had a reservation. I did see a sign that they were serving pasta, but the person that I talk to on the phone Had no idea about it so ended up going somewhere else
Food was not as good as a visit a few days ago. Took 15 minutes and flagging down a wait staff before drink orders were even taken. Meal served did not have to everything listed in the menu. Was not offered the choice of Italian or Mexican menu. Has a 3% service fee added
We ordered from the Rosebud menu and the food was quite good. The restaurant will change to Mexican soon - both menus were available when we went.
I made a reservation for Rosebud ITALIAN, but they now are a Mexican place with a Mexican menu and Italian menu I guess ...so confusing. The service was SO SLOW! The food was just ok. Terrible spicy margarita and delicious espresso martini. Likely won't go back.
I had a drink at the bar prior to lunch. The bartender shorted me my change. People who short cash receipts are stealing. And, if management considers this acceptable I will not be eating at Rosebud ever again.
Great food and atmospheres. It's clear the restaurants is working out kinks. Waited over a hour for food with no communication from our server until we brought it to attention. Staff then went above and beyond to ensure our food arrived and manger comped the meal. Great food great terrace, lots of potential.
We had a great experience. This restaurant is in the transition into a Mexican restaurant and so we had Italian food and Mexican food.
Just wasn't great. Roasted Brussels had no seasons. Veal came slathered in sauce and enough cheese for multiple servings. Not sure when scallopini became a red sauce with olives???? I ordered the veal braciole. I believe they served it with the cachittori sauce The recommended strip steak also had no seasoning. It was cooked as order but overall bland little flavor. We liked the bread but asked for olive oil as the butter packages were frozen solid. We will not go back.
The restaurant seems to be undergoing a transition to a Mexican restaurant. It was a bit confusing. We were given both Italian and Mexican menus.
Excellent service. Chicken parmigiana was amazing. Came at a unique time where they were transitioning to a Mexican cuisine fare, but still had the Italian menu.

Visited this place on our trip to chicago since it had a nice atmosphere but left very disappointed with the service. We had to hunt the waitress down for all of our needs and waited 20 min for the bill just for them to go back and fix the check twice. They add a 2% service charge, you have to tell them to take it off. We got charged $7 more per meal since we ordered a “dinner item” but our waiter never told us this. When we asked about the price difference we got a very rude response. Terrible service.

Their service was horrible. We literally had to serve ourselves. I don’t want to give them even 1 star. They have good location but they don’t know how to use. Seriously they need to change
Ok so here's the tea... Rosebud brunch food taste decent. I mean how can you messed up eggs and bacon. The kicker is the following : the service. Let me explain. The staff is dedicated there's no doubt. But they are disorganized. They need a floor manager or something to give them focus. Don't get me wrong they are packed... but the real reason is because the waiting time at the restaurant next door is crazy. So all the tourist end up at Rosebud. Pro tip : just increase the quality of your coffee and you won't have any bad review. Good coffee helps tourist to be patient and it soften the blow of BAD service.

We visited on Sunday 1st September 2024 for a late breakfast (arrived just after 10am). After placing our order (pancakes, French toast and an omelette) we waited…..and waited….and waited….after 60 minutes of waiting for our food to not arrive, we left. The restaurant was busy though the front of staff and kitchen were clearly disorganised when food and drinks were going to wrong tables, and some tables of 2-4 people arriving 30 minutes after us were receiving their food already. It’s a shame really as the restaurant is in a great location and has potential to be a decent place to eat, if only they sorted out their kitchen/ordering system. Until this is managed this effectively, I would stay away if you don’t want extensive waiting times.
