Roti is a fantastic spot for healthy, fresh Mediterranean-inspired bowls. Their crispy and spicy falafel balls are a standout—perfectly seasoned and cooked to a delightful crunch. It’s no wonder this place is one of my husband’s favorites for a nutritious meal. The customizable bowls, packed with fresh vegetables, a variety of flavorful sauces, and toppings, make it a go-to for anyone looking for a wholesome yet satisfying meal.

Service:
The staff at Roti are incredibly kind and attentive. They’re happy to recommend options based on your preferences, making the ordering process smooth and personalized. Despite the lunch rush, the service is quick, ensuring you get your food without a long wait.

Ambience:
The restaurant has a calm, clean, and no-frills vibe. It’s not overly fancy, but the simplicity adds to its charm. The space is well-maintained, and the restrooms are clean—a big plus for any dining spot.

Price: Similar to that of Chipotle with extra falafel balls.

Great food, so-so dining space. That’s a short summary of this restaurant. While Mediterranean is in the name, I don’t know how correct that is. This is not the kind of food I’ve seen around the Mediterranean.

That said, it’s good. I got a street falafel and both the pita and the falafels were great. Highly recommended.

The seating area was a bit dull though. And both ordering machines were offline.

They serve the pita sandwiches with cold ingredients and the meat is a little greasy.

At 20 dollar for mostly rice, I would recommend going elsewhere.

This establishment is fantastic! The food and portions were excellent. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. As I had a sore throat, I requested for room temperature water. To my surprise, the amazing ladies, Yolonda and Melanie, went out of their way to find me bottled room temperature water. When I tried to pay for it, they graciously refused, insisting on providing it at no charge. Their kindness and thoughtfulness truly touched me. Thank you so much, Yolonda and Melanie. I will definitely visit your restaurant again whenever I'm in downtown Chicago.

I walked from my hotel to this delicious Mediterranean spot, Roti. I had the Za'atar Chicken bowl. This dish was perfectly seasoned and the Garlic sauce really made this dish for me. The gentleman that helped me was Kevin, he made us feel welcome and definitely put a smile on our faces. I wish I had this spot in my hometown.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian/vegan options.

Food is tasty but a bit on the pricey side for a build your own bowl place.

Ventilation needs to be improved so we chose to take out instead of dining in. I chose green bowl, basically fresh except the broccoli, which is not green but yellowish, quite put me off that I picked them all out. My husband picked the chicken pita and he is happy with that.
