Roti Mediterranean Bowls. Salads. Pitas.

The quality has declined to inedible. We ordered food with wilted and black greens, protein that was gristly and tough. We tried picking stuff out but ended up throwing away what we ordered and leaving after a few minutes.

The food is really good, and the quality is always consistent. However, the service is terrible—the employees always treat you like they’re doing you a favor and have a terrible attitude.

I've been to other locations and I'm not sure if it was just this location or things changed. I paid $14 + plus for a couple little pieces of chicken and then just really sparse portions of vegetables. It's insane that they just give you one little scoop as a portion and we'll give you extra vegetables seeing as how cheap they are. I will never be back.

What used to be my favorite restaurant in the world (seriously) has turned to s***. The food updates have destroyed what used to be delicious food. Now when I go there (which is hardly ever now) has stale bread, crusted hummus, dry falafel, no good toppings but the same price (if not higher). What a joke of a company destroying all their amazing food. Who ever chooses their new food options should be not just fired but kicked out of the industry. I’ve seen this decline over 5 years and I only come here ever so often to see if they actually went back to their old recipes only to be disappointed . - a former diehard customer

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I look on their website and they have some beautiful pictures of bowls. I go in , and I order one, Butternut Squash. Both employees laugh and say they haven’t had that in a while. When I tell them that s it’s still currently on their website I get the side eye. I go ahead and order a Falafel pita and falafel salad. I get home, the Falafel was hard and disgusting. A microwave couldn’t save them. The hard and stale Pita fell apart almost immediately. 2 bites in and I dump $26 worth of food in the garbage. Disgusting. This place should just close down. Chipotle does a better job than this dogfood.

Never again !!!! The falafel was so hard I had to bring plier from my truck to crush it. Tasted like grinded cardboard.

My order is always wrong here - they forget an ingredient or sauce. Also the pita bread is always stale on the edges.

Shout out to the 2 men at the front serving food. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names, but they were 2 african american men with short hair, 1 smaller frame and 1 larger. The smaller framed guy was so kind to us with our request, and I witnessed the other guy enact generosity to another patron waiting there for orders.

I’m sure standing there for several hours is taxing, so I can’t applaud enough these 2 guys for keeping their humanity towards customers.

The 'Chipotle' of Mediterranean food. There is a decent amount of menu options. All food is cold or room temperature. Stand in line, make a selection, and a server puts your bowl ir pita together. The organic lemonade was quite good. Bathroom was clean. The decor is modern and generic.

Visited the location near Halstead and Clyborn. The food was good. Had ordered the Harissa Chicken. The guy who took our order was very pleasant and patient and interacting with him felt good. However the girls who came after asking if we need other toppings, man they sounded like they just got released from Auschwitz warden duty and landed in this Roti location. Fast food and other food joints should remember, people go to these places not just for food but also for experience. A good peaceful and pleasant experience. Please train your people to be pleasant . Train them to set their expectations from their chosen field of work fairly. You can't choose to work in a restaurant and be frustrated about low pay or whatever other reasons and take it on unsuspecting and low hanging fruits like patrons. A lot of these girls are very young and if at this age if you are not able to shield yourself from frustrations and anger then you don't have any hope for the future most likely.

Other than that, the location is amazing. Ample parking space and great shopping location. Apple store nearby and so is a Best buy. Wish they hired better people and trained them well to control their emotions and not just to cash out and serve food

The service at this restaurant was terrible. I went there with my family on the evening of August 6th, 2024. Both the ladies (black woman and perhaps a middle eastern/south Asian woman) who took the order were extremely rude and nasty with me. The black woman scared my 6 year old son and yelled at him very rudely. The other woman mocked me when I was choosing the sides. Overall, even after spending $70+ I was treated extremely badly. I am from India. So, perhaps it was racial discrimination. I would strongly recommend to not go to this place. TERRIBLE!!!
