I had a decent experience here, but it didn't quite blow me away.
The standout part of the visit was definitely the service; the staff was incredibly friendly, fast, and helpful throughout the process. However, the food was just average. While the ingredients were fresh, the flavors felt a bit muted and lacked that authentic Mediterranean punch I was hoping for.
The atmosphere is standard for a quick-service spot—clean, but nothing special. It’s a reliable option if you’re in a rush and need a healthy-ish meal in Chicago, but strictly middle-of-the-road in terms of taste.

I see you've taken on the protein portion sizes of Chipotle. $15 for a giant bowl of rice with only 2 tablespoons worth of meat. This is not the first time this happened but it will be my last and would explain why there's barely anyone coming anymore and why the location in Skokie didnt make it either. I'll pass on the giant bowl of spiking my blood sugar.

Delicious and lots of options for various dietary needs. Riced cauliflower was perfectly seasoned with light turmeric, had that with tender roasted chicken, savory babaganoush, tangy hot honey harissa and crispy carrots. Not oily, not soaked in sauces, flavors and textures were distinct and could enjoy each bite. Only inside is a little loud with overhead music but found a corner where I could hear my partner better. Otherwise delicious and would try other mixes of bowls and meats.

We used to live in Chicago and really loved Roti. Sadly not any more. Maybe it’s just this location but the vegetables were all wilted mushy. The woman working the counter was rude and clearly unpleasant. Her hygiene was also a bit questionable. She put tons of sauce on top without care, it was like a mediterranean tzatziki stew in the end with way too many olives. Clearly doesn’t care. Sad.
We bought falafel Pitas and they tasted amazing. However, the way the Pitas are constructed is terrible. In the Pitas they put all the falafels at the bottom with salads and dressing on top. This leaves the pita dry at the bottom. Maybe add little sauce and salad at the bottom so it’s evenly constructed.
