Food be hella good! But I'm not a fan of the mac n cheese & the j*** chicken is overcooked sometimes. Also the last time I ordered plantains, they were slimy and undercooked. Love love love their j*** catfish and brown stew chicken (hella moist) though! They also should probably update their address, because they are now at 75th and Cottage Grove.

THIS PLACE HAS AWESOME DISHES SERIOUSLY. But the young lady taking orders can be a little bit nicer.. she acts like she hates her job. The manager has always taken great care of my order, however which is why I always come back.. ?

They don't practice social distancing, staff and customers dont wear masks, they allow the tiny lobby to be crowded with customers.

Called the restaurant twice asking for an item on the menu, both times I was told that they had it. I got to the restaurant and they told me it was sold out. We drove from Lansing illinois to get food. It would have been simple enough to say that they didn't have a lot of it and that they wouldn't be making more,, before I got all the way to the city. They didn't even apologize, they just said we are out, somebody came in and bought It .We had stopped going there because the order taker was nasty and condescending.

Undercooked food. This is my first review and I really dislike being negative however, this food had goat organs too, I asked for meat. What?! I'm currently having a stomach ache lol no joke. The rice was also undercooked and swimming in stretched water/gravy. I'm sorry but this quality of food shouldn't be branded Jamaica.
